Here's how it would work: A collection of brief samples from random albums and songs is compiled. A sample is given, and the first one to name the song from which the sample came would recieve a point. At the end of the round, the player with the most points wins. Obviously, there should be a prize involved.

So are you guys interested? I was hoping to use MSN, because it allows you to quickly play audio send in chat, and would be easy to get for people who wanted to participate, but didn't already have it. Other options would be a ventrillo server or hosting the files in a collection on the forum. People would then have to post their answers (though I don't think that'd be as much fun).

I was thinking about speaking to the mods and asking them if they would upload a personal avatar for the winner as a prize, if you guys want to play.

Well, my plan was to make the clips, and play, say, a clip from Distance over an MSN chat.

You double click the file in MSN chat, play it, and then respond with the answer as quickly as you could. I would use the windows sound recorder, so it'd be a small WAV file.
