she did not compose this, just sang it. the chorus sounds like first love. whatcha all think?

this song is called We Belong, sang by a filipino artist named Toni Gonzaga, w/c is also appearing in the video.

most of the reactions that i found in the internet says that
the composer shouldn't have done this, coz the chorus sound like First love, and the producers of Hikaru-san should react about this.

i think its really sounds so close to first love, but not totally, coz its the chorus that only similar, maybe the melody from first love and We belong is just close to one another, but who know? why did EMI-Toshiba did not react or do anything about it?
