Rock band is fuuuuun. :]
I like vocals. I can't play guitar (thus my lack of love for Guitar Hero </3), nor bass, nor drums, so that leaves vocals. Generally, I play on intermediate or hard. If the vocals are really easy, I'll go for expert, but I usually botch it. xD
My favorite songs are as follows:
1) "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" - Jet (eeeeaaaasy vocals)
2) "Blitzkrieg Bop" - The Ramones (fun lyrics and easy vocals)
3) "Cherub Rock" - Smashing Pumpkins (<3)
4) "Creep" - Radiohead (I'm actually more familiar with this song through Amanda Palmer, who's constantly covering it. I don't listen to Radiohead.)
3) "Dani California" - Red Hot Chili Peppers (Yay!)
4) "Maps" - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - (This is my FAVORITE song to sing...ever.)

I've never played Rock Band 2, so I don't know what the songs are like on there. :3

Do any of you guys play Rock Band? If so, then what is your favorite instrument, (guitar, bass, drums, vocals) and what are your favorite songs to rock out to, what difficulty do you play on? Let us all know!

I play on Bass, I can play guitar and sing as well. My average difficulty is hard, but I can play some songs on expert.
Favorite songs to play are.....

The Moving Pictures album from Rush, all 7 songs
The Trees from Rush
White Wedding from Billy Idol
I.V. from X Japan
Still Alive from GLaDOS and Jonathan Coulton
Skullcrusher Mountain by Jonathan Coulton
Headphones On by Miranda Cosgrove
All the Boston songs.

Ugh, I'm gonna stop there, too many to list, lol.
