Utada's voice type

Does anyone know Utada's voice type (soprano, mezzo, alto, etc.)

I've been searching for her highest and lowest note. So far I've found the highest to be E6 in "Stay Gold" and the lowest to be D#3 in "Flavor of Life".

Good topic
In my opinion,Hiiki's voice may be Mezzo Soprano to Soprano. However I think Hikki has a widen range of voice type.Sometime you'll found that she can be Alto and Soprano at the same time such as "Hotel Lobby"

I don't know about different voice types, but if you're looking for Utada's highest note, I recommend listening to One Night Magic. Here is a link to the song with lyrics.

Check out 3:10 to 3:43, that's when she sings really high and, in my opinion, is her highest note.

The voice type of a singer is not only determined by range alone; the timbre, weight and transition points all matter. To me, Hikki always sounded like a Mezzo-Soprano, although her range does reach that of a Soprano's and Contralto's. It's a little subjective though; her tone and timbre might sound Soprano to you but Mezzo-Soprano to me.

i don't know. i think the highest i've ever heard her sing was when she just sang a high note for no reason in Wait & See right before the bridge of the song.

Or maybe i'm wrong.
