Wonder Girls just became the first asian crossover act EVER to chart on the US Hot 100. They debuted at #76 this week with "Nobody"

This is huuuge! I started to lose hope of it ever happening after Hikki and BoA kinda failed to crack the US market (so far).

no but seriously kudos to the wonder girls for their breakthrough...i think their songs and choreography is too catchy to not like...young group (the youngest member, SoHee, is 17 i believe) putting music out to a young crowd...of course its going to be a hit...not yet up with the jonas brothers, or hannah montana stuff, but let america listen to a few more songs like “so hot” or “tell me” and they'll explode...they'll love the dance to “tell me” for sure!!!

they're my second favorite asian artist as of now...and yes, SunYe is super beautiful!! and YeuEun too!! i had listened to "so hot", "irony" and "tell me" and they're really catchy...they also have some ballad hits like "this time" and "it's not love"...i'm really happy for their success because they got that from hard work and perseverance...

Maybe I heard the wrong songs to start off with. I thought the Wonder Girls were just "okay". Nothing to write home about. Then again, my Korean artist knowledge is still growing. That song was hott, though. One thing I'm never afraid to admit is when a song is good.

i am extremely happy for them. they have worked extremely hard to get to where they are today. i hope they continue to have success here in the US
