If you don't listen to them already,chatmonchy.They aren't as multilayered pop as Koko and Miko but they are pop for the most part.Very good band.

Chatmonchy are really awesome! I Looked Them Up On Youtube - とび魚のバタフライ is my favorite so far! ^_^

Perfume. Through and through that is the only group I never get bored of. And if you get into Perfume now, it'll be in perfect timing as they are releasing a new single in April :) Other suggestions...ayaka and alan, both are beautiful voices. I also suggest Kimura Kaela. Her voice isn't that stellar but her music and lyrics are really something unique.

Agreed, Ayaka is awesome.

I don't listen to much Japanese music other than Utada though.

they're all my favorites. Scanch is VERY hard to find but youtube has some of their videos. I love them.

You need to listen to Otsuka Ai then. A little high pitch in voice but, her ballads are beautiful. Nakashima Mika isn't that bad of a choice either.
