Island Records Hosts Party for Utada

June 9, 2004 - Island Records hosted an exclusive listening party for Utada tonight at 5Ninth in New York City. Tracks from Utada's English language debut, out this Fall, filled the evening with her intoxicating brand of music.

Well, now there's an official 'general' time for Utada's Debut! And it looks like Utada's promotions are finally starting

There had been several unofficial estimated release dates in the past, but now the release seems imminent. Since there was a listening party, this confirms that the album is complete.
Hikki had just recently finished recording the upcoming album a few months ago, working on the last few tracks with Timbaland. The Utada track "By Your Side" featuring Timbaland and Keily Dean will be released July 12th,2004 on "Unity", the soundtrack to the 2004 Olympics.
This track could likely be the debut single, as it is being released much earlier then IslandDefJam's date of "Fall", which could be the album release date.

[FYI: Fall Equinox is from approx. Sept 21st till Dec 21st]
