A natural beauty .....

Just to lighten the mood a tad .....

It would not be the first time my twisted Sister has pulled my plonker, swearing to everything that is holy the photo below is a "glammed up" Mr T from way back when manscara, bendy bobby's lash-brow conditioner, and the guyliner for geezer range was thought way too iffy for men to fully appreciate and understand the subtle benefits from the power of skincare and make-up.

Can any member confirm ?.....ho hummmmm

From yesterdays tweets, a clearly enraged Hikki railed against the methods and behaviours adopted by on-site media/press corps, some 40 plus, in attendance at Mothers Funeral. It must have taking all Fathers self control not to leap over and stamp on the loud peddle when reporters stepped into the path of the funeral cortege.

It was undeniably intrusive with toe curling insensitively, all deeply distressing the Family.

Mr T has also complained vehemently about the means by which a weekly magazine sought to obtain stories from family members of Junko Utada, angrily questioning the content and its accuracy.

Is Keiko Fuji the original artist for this song?

She's not. And I can't really find any info on the song at all. It was kinda tough finding the lyrics themselves (as someone who doesn't speak Japanese anyway)but it's uncanny. Almost spooky how much the situation and song resemble.

There's one detail about Keiko Fuji's death really has me wondering. There's this old song. A folk song, I believe called 13階の女 (Woman of the 13th Floor) about a woman who contemplates suicide. I used to love the song but now I'm left feeling lukewarm about it. I wonder if Utada's heard it. Anyway, here's two versions of the song. I strongly recommend it.

And for the sake of contemplation, these are the lyrics as translated by a Japanese friend.

*she no longer has a choice but doing this:
throwing herself from the 13th floor's roof.*
She has been repeatedly deceived, she has hard luck.
sometimes she thinks she has found a nice person
but all the same at the end. (ends up being cheated again)
*refrain
She was forced into the mental hospital,
it must be someone's (cunning) trick.
there is no longer a person to trust in this world.
*refrain
But she hasn't jumped, people's clever but empty words
'don't kill yourself for now, anyways for any sake'
*refrain 4times

This is so sad....I found this song to be appropriate (I could only find the music box version unfortunately).

Is it me or does Arashi no Megami that Utada Hikaru wrote makes a lot more sense now? I could only imagine what she was holding inside all this time...

Utada Hikaru releases new statement to correct mistakes in recent news reports...

"During the cremation, only 5 or 6 family members including Utada and her father were present".
