rumour has it that "hotel lobby" WAS going to be released as a 5th single for "exodus" - but the idea was scrapped after the flop of YMMWTBAM!

But didn't YMMWTBAM get all that crazy exposure in Europe and merit a second release of her album?? Seriously though, she should have released Hotel Lobby before YMMWTBAM because I like that song better and I think it would have reached a wider audience.

the single was quietly released...the video was hardly ever on music channels and i heard her song ONCE in a shop - they played the blooshy n avant mix of YMMWTBAM - HMV didn't even know who utada was

Really? That sucks, it seemed like she actually received some notice in Europe. I think she might have been popular in holland... where do you live? (was it the UK...?) Maybe she got more exposure in other parts of Europe...

Yeah, so she was probably popular in other parts of Europe, I think Holland liked her a bit. Oddly, I thought that she was somewhat known in the UK too... I guess not. Where in the UK do you live? Maybe she only got exposure in certian parts.
