Anyway .....

Premier League:
West Ham V Millwall
London Derby...
Westham 3-1 Millwall.
Mass violence mars London derby
BBC sport report:
Fights broke out at 1800 BST and were still raging five hours later. A 44-year-old man is stable after being stabbed in Priory Road at 2025 BST.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said missiles had been thrown at officers but none were injured.
Inside Upton Park stadium West Ham fans invaded the pitch three times.
By 2300 BST several hundred West Ham fans had congregated outside the stadium chanting and bombarding police with crates and bottles. The first pitch invasion was after West Ham's equaliser, while the second more serious invasion happened after they scored a penalty.
It took officials about six minutes to clear about 50 people from the pitch and police had to redeploy within the stadium to tackle the invasion.
West Ham won the game 3-1 after extra time, upon which there was a third invasion by hundreds of fans.
About 200 riot police and at least 20 mounted officers were at the ground and a police helicopter circled the area.
The Press Association quoted an unnamed 19-year-old saying he saw a police officer being kicked on the ground.
The police spokesman said: "There is large-scale trouble involving hundreds of fans which we are dealing with at the moment.
"Officers are now containing it but there is still disorder. Hundreds of fans are estimated to be involved."

One pub reportedly had its windows broken by bricks during running battles across several streets up to half a mile from the stadium.

Eyewitnesses told of hooligans trying to rip out bollards and lighting "small fires".

Five arrests have been confirmed, including one for affray and one for breaching a banning order.

BBC radio reporter Ben Jacobs, who was at the stadium, said: "The trouble broke out outside the Tube station about 600 yards from the ground.

"There were [hundreds of] riot police and Millwall fans managed to break through the divide."

'Really intimidating'

Tony, a steward at the game, told BBC Radio 5 live they were powerless to stop the violence.

He said: "When you have 2,900 Millwall fans it is really intimidating.

"There is not a lot you can do - you have to hope the police presence can help you out."

A 29-year-old man had to close his kebab shop in nearby Green Street for two hours.

He said: "All hell broke loose - it was very frightening.

"Bottles and bricks were being thrown from the back and some were hitting West Ham fans at the front.

"There were loads of people with bloodied faces."

Aaron Smith, from Hemel Hempstead, who was at the game, said: "I saw one man cornered by at least a dozen Millwall fans before kick-off. Terrifying scenes."

And a Millwall fan told the BBC: "It was like a war zone outside the stadium. There was fighting all round.

"I brought my kids with me tonight and they've seen some violence that is indescribable."

A Football Association spokesman said: "We absolutely condemn the disorder.

"We expect all culprits to be banned from football for life - they have no place in our game."

Fans from London Club just don?t mix, this is crazy, these fans are prepared to kill each other to prove a point, I thought the FA had drawn a line under this behaviour ...even repeated batten charges with dogs couldn?t push the rioters back, Bobo sent BBC press release earlier, the Riot Police even had to use baton rounds in their attempt to quell the fighting......British Football again has to hang it head in disgrace

This was Carling Cup tie, I thought the match was Premier League, but West Ham (East London) is a Premier League Club whilst Millwall (South East London) resides in the Coca-Cola Football League One , both will be facing huge fines from the FA, and then there the bill for all the damage.

On a lighter note Arsenal 3-1 Celtic (agg 5-1) Champions League draw, Arsene Wenger refused to condemn Eduardo for diving, not surprising Eduardo been accused of diving on more than one occasion before, he dived though , he hasn?t made any real attempt to deny it.

Plus today Thursday at 17:00 BST the draw for the Champions? League group stages will take place, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers will be in the draw.

The draw consists of the 32 teams split into 8 groups of 4, with the early matches being played around the middle of September, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal are amongst the top seeds, with Rangers in the second groupings, with Inter Milan and Real Madrid, so perversely Rangers could face any one of the English four, and United could meet Madrid - and Cristiano Ronaldo, just imagine the sh** storm he will receive at.United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Rangers all command automatic first round qualification, with Arsenals 5-1 agg win over Celtic will mean that the top seeded British Clubs will take a huge slice of the lucrative stages of Europe's premier Champions.

For the UN Boxing Fans:

Three-time heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali spent the second day of his UK tour visiting Ricky Hatton at the British fighter's Manchester gym.

first things first, about eduardo, i dont understand the trouble he is going through. so many other players dive, but theyre singling him out, yes the ref couldve made the wrong call and replays show that he DID dive but, what do they plan to do when the call was made and the game is over? suspension would be unfair and taking a goal back would be pointless...

and i dont see united supporters booing ronaldo. he said that it would be a dream to play for real madrid and yes he did say that he had interests in going to spain, but i feel the move was made not on behalf on ronaldo's wishes, but to make real madrid just shut up about his transfer...theyre also doing fine without him, nani has scored a couple of goals in his place and i expect valencia and park to consistently add solid performances and nab a couple of goals...the flair is gone from the right flank but united is still doing well

This question has been troubling the UEFA for some years, UEFA is proceeding with a disciplinary case against Eduardo after he went down in the area under challenge from the goalkeeper and won a penalty in last week's champions league draw.

What has inflamed the whole situation and ignited Arsenal's fury is the two-game Champions League suspension handed down to Eduardo da Silva for diving has been deepened by confirmation from UEFA sources that any player who commits the same offence and is seen by the referee will escape with no greater punishment than a booking. Arsenal are considering an appeal against the ban, which stands to rule out Eduardo from the Champions League group ties against Standard Liege and Olympiakos!!

One can understand Wengers feelings of injustice and persecution, and Wenger strongly believes that the governing body's processes have been inconsistent and flawed. Trouble is Eduardo was found guilty by an independent disciplinary panel of "deceiving the referee", and the Ref Manuel Mejuto Gonz?lez, has stood by his decision to award the penalty, but UEFA decided to refer the case to its disciplinary unit. It can do so under the little-used law 10(1)(c), which permits it to revisit incidents containing alleged ?deceptions? or ?simulations?, even if the official feels that he has got the decision right at the time, or even upon reflection. The irony for Arsenal is that if Gonz?lez felt that he had been deceived at the time and booked Eduardo, UEFA would have been satisfied and left it at that?Football a funny old game sometimes.

Ronaldo, well lets cast our minds back to last May and the Champions league final against Barcelona, Alex Ferguson admitted his Manchester United team had been outplayed and condemned their "shoddy" defending on a night which ended with Cristiano Ronaldo reigniting fears over his future.

Ferguson:

"We were well beaten, the better team won and there's nothing we can do about it now, there's a disappointment in the performance, some individuals will feel it themselves when they look at how they played."??

However, Ronaldo said the defeat was in part down to Ferguson's tactics.

Ronaldo:

"We had 10 [good] minutes and then we never found ourselves again, the tactics were not good and everything went wrong." The forward also left his future open to doubt. Asked whether he would be at Old Trafford next season, he replied: "I don't know."

United fans found his attitude disappointing, and beasted Ronaldo for voicing it to a Spanish Newpaper?..

But you are quite right Real instigated Ronaldo?s departure during the European Championships

I miss lot of football match nowadays, because one thing "video game" XP on the weekend when usually watch the match but i play game.

But yeah i watch the news about Eduardo diving move , i'm glad he got suspended. Not because i'm a MU fans but i want English premiere league still a competitive and clean league , not like other league (don't have to mention it) use many trick just for winning.

Lets forget about Ronaldo when i saw his interview with Kaka, i think he already forgot MU and Fergie the one who raised him to be as big as right now.

Val:

Tonight : Weds 9 Sept (kick-off 2000 BST)
ENGLAND v CROATIA

World Cup qualifier, European group six
Croatia knocked England out of the European Championships.
Croatia coach Slaven Bilic has started the mind games insisting he was praising England when he said they had lost their "Englishness" under Italian manager Fabio Capello.

Bilic's comments were interpreted as ?handbags? ahead of World Cup qualifier but Bilic said: "I didn't say anything negative, I said, in a positive way, that Mr Capello is one of the best managers in the world. they are more organised, more solid, they control games almost completely."
We shall see tonight.......ho hum

once in a while they will do something like that but it doesn't mean anything. just a warning i guess, there are still a lot of questionable refereeing.
