anyways, anyone of you seen hana yori dango final?

YES! It's awesome, imo! damn. I'm so happy over how good it is. I mean, it's the same as the series, a bit goofy and such. But that's what's great with it

Maybe a bit predictable, but stilll... Great entertainment!

Trying not to spoil anything.

thank you for not spoiling anything...i'm currently downloading the movie...

@swallowtail

it's the continuation of the jdorama...the events after tsukasa propose to makino...

I just saw "Gran Torino" last night starring Clint Eastwood.

Highly recommended.

A bitter and lonely war veteran (Korea) lives in a decayed area of town overrun by gang members. Asians move in next-door (to his disdain). This brings him trouble in a roundabout way; as the gung-ho veteran comes to the rescue of their younger son who is being forced by peers to join their gang. Thus he gets pulled into their culture, unwillingly. Through the movie, he befriends the two siblings of the household, and finds himself as mentor to their son and a protector of their family.

It was quite rivetting: full of racial jokes (as he's an old, white war-vet) crissed with cross-cultural drama.

10/10 on my end.

I cannot recall the amount of time I 'lawled' openly in the theatre concerning his racist antics.

I LOVE Spirited Away! The only other Miyazaki film I've seen is "Kiki's Delivery Service" - and I wasn't that into it.

My favs are...

Thirteen - (Evan Rachel Wood, Nikki Reed (I'm so in love with her Lol), and Holly Hunter.) - It's about a geeky girl named Tracy (ERW) who runs into the "cool" crowd and decides to be like them and Evie (Nikki Reed), Tracy's very troubled "best friend" influences her to do bad things like drugs and steal and sleep around and stuff. They're all only in 7th grade, also. This movie sort of reminds me of me a lot. But I wasn't like "super" pretty until I was like 19 and lost a lot of weight in arizona

The Corpse Bride (Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter)

Blood In, Blood Out (Benjamin Bratt, Lou Diamond Phillips) - It's about Mexican gang members - one who's half white and looks completely white. It's long, but good.

Dancer in the Dark (Bjork) - Not for the faint-hearted. It's sick, twisted, and extremely depressing. Bjork plays a U.S. immigrant from Czechoslovakia who's going blind and saving money to save her own son's eyesight. Her money gets jacked by the landlord (who's also a broke cop) and he forces her to kill him in order to get her money back from him. The end is crazy.

Napoleon Dynamite, Juno, and Alice in Wonderland are my other favs hehe...

OH and "Girlfight" with Michelle Rodriguez. It's awesome.
