that's a pretty good photo. did you take the photo? or was it someone else? how did you or the person who took the photo manage to take a picture without being caught? anyways, thanks for sharing all the info and photos.

the concert was so awesome!! utada sounded so great..but i got only one picture and my video got messed up...but does any one else at the LA show think that her voice was a little bit different? because i watched the hawaii show videos and she sounds really good but then at the LA show she sounded really good too but her voice sounded different like it was higher than normal...maybe its just me

THE SHOW WAS AMAZING!
so apparently, there is a regular line and a separate line for those who purchase $15 and over, who are able to get into the venue first. So I quickly grabbed my friend and I to buy items each $15, so at least a total of $30 so we were able to get into the venue alot earlier. However, the staff did not check reciepts. They were pretty strict about the no camera policy but i put it in my pocket so it was fine. I was like only 5 ft to the stage and they started letting ppl in at 730. She started the show at like 945 and ended at 11 ish so about a 2 hour show. The setlist is pretty much the same as the Hawaii one and she was so cute when she spoke Japanese and asked if ppl frm Japan were there! She talked about how this particular venue is memorable because she watched the show 5 years ago but forget the artist. She told us that she doesn't hope that will happen to us too! And during the middle of the concert, a staff member brought out a cake and all of us started singing happy birthday! Her singing was great! Very similar to listening to CDs except she couldn't hit the high notes in Apple and Cinnamon, where she didn't sing "Apples and Cinnamon" in the middle (btw, her movements were so cute singing this song), You Make Me Want To Be A Man, and Come Back To Me. I tried to record the chorus of every song until this security guy told me to put away my camera. I want to share these performances with you guys but I'm scared of posting them on youtube. I took pics too..I'll probably upload later. But she looked so young and pretty in person! Loved her red dress!! My favorite part was Sakura Drops when she played the piano and sang at the same time!!!!!!! OMGOMGOMGOGM!!! |
