I think Sir Alex's actions are justifiable! Clearly, I am not a Man U supporter...haha

chelsea must be going for that home streak record again huh pips? beating at that point a very good liverpool team AND shutting down quite possibly the hottest striker on the planet right now, fernando torres, that is IF they can withstand the onslaught my team, arsenal, is going to bring soon..van persie's goal ended it and im going to expect for rvp to do it again this year..psh we dont need adebayor and toure...eduardo is playing like he used to be at before he got hurt and vermaelen has been solid thus far being paired with gallas...though we do need to sign at least one more player we're looking good this year...not expecting a league title this but topping man city is my only wish...

Yes, seems Drogba has won this particular encounter with Fernando Torres, with a mixture of some simple close-range play which saw him at menacing best but Drogba spent too much time reverting to his bad old ways, throwing himself to the ground, and staying there, even though contact had been minimal at best, ultimately subduing Torroes, when he did stay on his feet he is, as always, a huge threat.
Arsene Wenger has entered his era as the longest-serving Arsenal boss celebrating 13 years in charge of the club midweek, his influence on the Gunners were evident and on dispaly as they put on a masterclass of attacking brilliance and creativity, after the match on Sunday Wenger said "Our culture is about going forward and scoring goals you saw that again, the whole team goes forward and we can score goals from everywhere, their keeper made some fantastic saves but we scored great goals, this Arsenal team can go as far as they want, they have fantastic potential, there are some amazing teams to compare them with and we still have it all to do of course, but the spirit and attitude is there?. He certainly has the supporter vote there. I think this season is going to produce some surprises maybe from Redknapps Spurs, although It concluded a strange week for Redknapp, who was forced to deny bizarre stories he was about to quit as Tottenham boss after bookmakers had slashed the odds on him leaving White Hart Lane from 50-1 to evens. Sir Alex is always fun to watch when he is on the back foot, the antic?s on the touchline was vintage Fergie..! ![]() ![]() |

i see know harry redknapp to leave tottenham...theyre third in the standings...he brought in playes who has made a big impact for them this far into the season...
arsenal does have unlimited potential, whipping good, solid clubs like everton, and even blackburn this past weekend when other big 4 teams would normally struggle...having a genius behind all squad operations makes arsenal dangerous for anyone..i expect them to do well in champions league this year... |

united outlast matt taylor's goal and late scare from bolton to reach atop the standings...while chelsea drop more points away from stamford bridge...drogba gave them the lead, but couldnt secure the match defensively allowing two goals from two defenders?...set piece defense becoming a problem for chelsea pips? two games and maximum points (matches they shouldve won) wouldve put them safe at first with a five point cushion ahead of united, but they find themselves behind one point..and being level on matches...transfers a no-no until next season...they need help but what can ancelotti do...screaming at them in italian i doubt is going to work this time...

With so many sport game last weeks almost make me not ahev a proper sleep.
Ghana won against Brazil on WC U-20 after breath taking pinalty shot XD Well Man U won 2:1 against Bolton W , header from Owen not very accurate but blunder from Bolton defender make a goal. Second goal by Valencia were a good combination.... Owen pass to Valencia then pass to Neville after that pass to Valencia again and Goal. Sad on second half not much thing happen only Bolton scored 1 goal. Man U only won 1 point to Chelsea...unless Man U cannot keep the good work Chelsea can pass again. GP F1 Brazil make Jensen Button F1 winner 2009. Also many rumor spread, Raikkonen back to McLaren Mercedes and Alonso go to Ferrari this make me wonder who will be the main driver will it Fellipe Massa or Fernando Alonso. |

Chelsea got the early goal when Friedel failed to block a long range shot. An unmarked Dicky Dunne headed the home side level after Ashley Young's corner flicked off Frank Lampard.
Villa?s James Collins headed the winner from another Young corner to stun Chelsea. It was Collins only goal in four years as Chelsea's defence was left exposed again after a set piece. Cast your minds back 2 seasons ago, Abramovich left Villa Park before the end of a 2-0 defeat by Martin O'Neill's side, and 2 weeks later the then manager Jose Mourinho was dismissed. I am not sure what John Terry was on, he was at one point almost having a major temper tantrum. To quote Ancelotti: "We lost the game because of two set plays. Chelsea played a good game and we don't want to lose the game in that situation, only if the other team play better than us. "Aston Villa were very able on the set plays. We want to do better for sure. We need more concentration." Arsenal 3 ? 1 Birmingham at the Emirates the only downer for the Gunners was an injury suffered by Theo Walcott, apart from that it was business as usual for Arsenal after the match Arsene Wenger said "We had plenty of opportunities today, perhaps it became a little bit too easy at 2-0. "We needed to regain our composure when they came back to 2-1. In the Premier League you need to keep your focus for 90 minutes. "We finally got our third goal and I believe it was a fair result. I still believe we need to improve at the back, but we are very consistent and we look strong." There are rumours of a 5 match ban on Sir Alex, the Football Association had asked Sir Alex on 3 October, to explain he behaviour after he launched an attack on Wiley following United's 2-2 draw at home to Sunderland , again Sir Alex said quote: "The pace of the game demanded a referee who was fit. He was not fit. It was ridiculous". Sir Alex apologised to Wiley on 10 October for any embarrassment caused. "It was never my intention to bring the focus of intense media attention on Mr Wiley," he said. However, Alan Leighton, head of officials' union, described the apology as "half-hearted". I think a 5 match ban and a fine would be harsh and unfair. Arsene Wenger, who was sent to the stands for kicking a water bottle in frustration during the Gunners defeat at Old Trafford not so long back, believes referees should "keep their distance" from both players and managers. Congrats to Ryan Giggs, one of five British footballers nominated for the prestigious European Footballer of the Year award for 2009. I took my 6 year old niece Tomo to the World Championship Gymnastics at the O2 arena , we met and had a chat with Beth Twiddle the new Floor World Champion, I was really impressed, Tomo was so excited almost running up and down on the spot, It is not every day you get to chat with a World Champion... ![]() Congrats to Jensen Button for F1 world Champion 2009 ![]() |

I've been watching MLB lately lol.. Will got me into the Phillies. Game 5 in the series against the Dodgers starts in like an hour... I missed the end of the last game, so idk if they won or lost. They were losing when Francisco made me turn the channel.

im rootin for the phillies to repeat this year as well...but it seems inevitable they'll be playing the yankees at the world series...i was hoping that the red sox would knock them out, but the angels had another idea to beat the sox and decided to give away the series to the yanks..they looked awful the last game...10-1 was it?
i see no other team to beat the yankees unless it is the phillies...i doubt the dodgers can when manny hasnt done very well this postseason... |
