Okay, so the rain was totally worth it. It could've rained like 30 times harder and it would still be okay. She was amazing, standing from the 2nd row in the middle. Her voice was heavenly @_@. I'm tempted to go the Vegas showing now...

Oh, adding on to other people's experiences, she also threw these autographed baseballs to the crowd during the encore, some of them had drawings of Kuma on them :( My friend and I both touched them but the girl in front of us got one T_T

We had a sign that was sort of a "request", it said Happy Birthday on one side and on the other it said "Sing HEART STATION please?" but she didn't sing it :( All in all it was an amazing experience and I will never forget it.

THE SHOW WAS AMAZING!

so apparently, there is a regular line and a separate line for those who purchase $15 and over, who are able to get into the venue first. So I quickly grabbed my friend and I to buy items each $15, so at least a total of $30 so we were able to get into the venue alot earlier. However, the staff did not check reciepts. They were pretty strict about the no camera policy but i put it in my pocket so it was fine. I was like only 5 ft to the stage and they started letting ppl in at 730. She started the show at like 945 and ended at 11 ish so about a 2 hour show.

The setlist is pretty much the same as the Hawaii one and she was so cute when she spoke Japanese and asked if ppl frm Japan were there! She talked about how this particular venue is memorable because she watched the show 5 years ago but forget the artist. She told us that she doesn't hope that will happen to us too! And during the middle of the concert, a staff member brought out a cake and all of us started singing happy birthday!

Her singing was great! Very similar to listening to CDs except she couldn't hit the high notes in Apple and Cinnamon, where she didn't sing "Apples and Cinnamon" in the middle (btw, her movements were so cute singing this song), You Make Me Want To Be A Man, and Come Back To Me.

I tried to record the chorus of every song until this security guy told me to put away my camera. I want to share these performances with you guys but I'm scared of posting them on youtube. I took pics too..I'll probably upload later. But she looked so young and pretty in person! Loved her red dress!! My favorite part was Sakura Drops when she played the piano and sang at the same time!!!!!!! OMGOMGOMGOGM!!!

so aside from purchasing the the ticket to get in, if you want to get into the venue sooner you had to spend $15 or more? so they actually had like merchandise there or something? can you clarify? if photos and video were prohibited, but there were merchandise, that'd be awesome!

that's cool that you were able to get a couple of photos. i'm guessing you had to sneak the snapshots, huh? hopefully i'll be able to get a few snapshots of Utada when i see her on thursday!!

can't wait to see the photos and video(if you do post it somewhere).thanks again for sharing your experience at her LA concert!

I can not even DESCRIBE how absolutely 1. Amazing she looked. 2. How amazing her voice is! 3. That I actually got to see her in concert! We got there early with the front of the line receipts and we ended up being the very first people right up next to her. It was the most absolutely tantalizing experience I'll ever encounter. I just wish I caught a stupid baseball, my only qualm of being in front. Other than that, a spectacular night. EXCEPT that horrible DJ, someone please tell me that DJ was just bad.

Also to clear up the whole pass the line issue. You do NOT have to EAT 15 dollars. I repeat, do NOT have to EAT 15 dollars. It just has to be an option from either the Entree, Sandwiches, or Burgers. So a 9.99 burger would do.

Also about the setlist, she sang an english song which I do not know the name of (which I'm assuming was a concert). The Encore was the same as Hawaii. And no Boku was Kuma (which I also assume was replaced by the cover). Also no Can you keep a secret. This was replaced by...something else :P

Other than that, everything else was about the same.
