I've been to gigs that have a no photography policy. It's mainly just to prevent professional equipment from entering the place, and in this case any old camera I suppose. They won't do anything about mobile phones though, so i'm sure you'll be safe bringing one along. You'll probably get away with taking an odd video or picture (perhaps without flash). They would tell you to stop before throwing you out or anything.

Is anything happening before or after the show. I'm not really clued in on the plans. It would be cool meeting fellow people, though slightly odd for me who's general shy, not to mention being new around here. Depending on what time it finishes I could be stuck in central London anyway. There's no way i'm leaving early for a train! Might be able to catch a nightbus. Not sure how that will go.

I got the email the other day about no cameras, and them I got a phonecall from ticketweb aswell today saying the same. Utada's people must really be serious (I doubt she has anything to do with it, I'm sure she wouldn't care either way lol) But of course we will be allowed to keep our mobiles with us!

im really glad about the no photo request, its got to be said i hate having to watch a performance through someone elses phone- if i wanted to watch on a screen i would just buy a dvd, and it shows respect for everyone else attending the event to not take photos. it MIGHT (obviously this is just a possibility) also mean that a dvd might be being filmed here ^^ -seeming as none of the other dates have received no photography requests- im assuming theres a good reason for why hikki might request that. ahh its so soon now, im getting hyper about again haha

What about the members from all over Europe who can?t attend the event for reason beyond their control, i.e because of the huge costs involved, or the ticket fiasco...if there is to be a DVD great... however on a fan to fan basis a few photos would not hurt anyone...we are not talking about humping around a Sony HDC-1500 to take clandestine broadcast quality concert footage that breeches copyright ... just a few Hikki snaps to share or just for keeps sake that is all!!!... let?s be clear about this no cameras means just that...many friends from both Utadanet and beyond cannot attend any of the dates and have requested a few snaps... Is that too much to ask...how individual members feel that are lucky enough to be attending the London show is one thing... try looking from the other side of the fence a professional DVD does not have the same authenticity as fan?s own photo?s.... even the wobbly one?s....not a criticism or a self righteous rant we all have our opinions and reasons... and it is fair to say that having to watch the Gig through a ?viewfinder? is not much fun...

Haha, I was just thinking how cool it would be if Utada did what the Pussycat Dolls did with their tour. Rather than release the tour on DVD, they recorded each show, and at the end of the show there was a stall where they were selling USB bracelets that had the full unedited show on it. That way you could watch the show that was more personal to you rather than watching a random show on DVD.
