darn you john terry...scores the winner off of frank lampard's cross...but it was unlikely for united , but yet lost a small margin...1-0...and stretches their lead to 5 points...becoming more and more one sided as chelsea are starting to run away from the rest of the pack.
i thought city played liverpool today but played burnley..and got a very disappointing result...on paper, city were set to overwhelm burnley..but couldnt keep the lead as kevin mcdonald equalised late for the newly promoted side..well deserved point for burnley, but city shouldve came away with 3.. i'll be studying more philipa..work on my voice too but its still early |

Hi Kayoko, Chelsea was anything but convincing in the 1-0 home victory, Drogba blatantly pulled Wes Brown's shirt so clearing the way for Terry to pop a glancing header that flew into the top corner.
![]() Sir Alex quite rightly hit out at referee Martin Atkinson.? The referee's position to make the decision (for the goal) was absolutely ridiculous, he can't see anything. It was a bad decision. You lose faith in refereeing, that's the way the players see it, that goal should never have been allowed, we've dominated the game. We've had great chances to win the match and not taken them - and that's our fault, we had great opportunities to get to the edge of the box and some really good chances in and around the box, but we should be finishing it off?, Sir Alex added "We've only ourselves to blame in that respect. But you do need a break - and we never got the break we needed." At least United can take way the consolation of a brave performance especially considering the absence of centre-half pairing Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, as well as striker Dimitar Berbatov, if all had been present little doubt that Untied would have prevailed and delivered Chelsea and Carlo Ancelotti an embarrassing wake up call. There is a morbid familiarly to Chelsea performance, had the Ref been better placed to see the big picture then Chelsea would have had to settle for a draw, the premiership with just 12 matches completed so far this season, Chelsea had a golden opportunity to show a steely determination and make United play for every inch of turf. ![]() Kayoko..looks like I'm back to hairbrush hero mode.....?Keep trying? as Utada would say......with IDJ, EMI comatose, it all a little bit depressing ![]() |

so chelsea sail 5 points clear and arsenal take sole possession of the second spot..but dont get too comfortable there pips..arsenal still has a game in hand compared to chelsea, so we win that game in hand, play chelsea and win, we're atop the league by 1 point...so the lead is actually very deceiving..

Hi Kayoko, ha-ha....I see Kayoko and perm coming together.....
![]() We have long ways to go before the end of the season, and Chelsea will have to dig a whole lot deeper to produce the class that will challenge Man U from Sunday?s ?ugly outing? ....plus the fact that the Premiership has 24 fixtures left on the card; this is going run up to the wire... Hey Dral Man U has 3 consecutive Premiership titles in the Bag, and still the bookie favourite to take a 4th ........ ![]() Wow Burnley yes ....you could not make this up ..... BBC Sport .... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/birmingham_city/8351713.stm ..... ![]() |

Premier league first, at least 3 weeks out for Lampard (Chelsea) after tearing a muscle in his left thigh while on England preparation for today?s England's match against Brazil, Lampard flew to Doha to prepare for the friendly only then to return home after picking up the injury, after medical assessment, Chelsea denied the injury was because of a cramped plane journey to Qatar, so would not pursue compensation. Rumors and reports had suggested that Chelsea may seek to claim compensation from FA as a result of Lampard's injury.
![]() England manger Fabio Capello stated on Friday that the plane used for the trip to Qatar was of a similar type used to fly to other England away matches; however Lampard's problem will be the stuff of nightmares for Chelsea as Lampard has suffered similar injuries in recent seasons. He missed most autumn of 2007-08 season with a torn right thigh muscle. ![]() Chelsea host Wolves today and then have a match with Porto a Champions League tie, before they face Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday 29 November. ![]() Kayoko this crucial tie has serious imprecations for us both, I have been thinking yes, I see you will be attending ?In The Flesh? Los Angeles 19 Jan 2010, if Arsenal lose I might go with a song and theme from your event, ?in the flesh? has sort of ring to it don?t you think. ![]() So could we be seeing Rooney heading to Barcelona? He has indicated he would like to spend the rest of his career at Old Trafford but here is no doubt Barcelona are interested, after all Rooney did not envisage leaving Everton in 2004 remember? ![]() And now?.. "It is nice to be noticed but I am really happy at United," he cooed, ?I can't see myself leaving. I have two years left on my contract after this year and I'm sure we'll be negotiating a new deal in the next few months??.. Now where have we heard that before? ?..Beckham before he felt out with Sir Alex, which prompted the ?shoe? incident, then Real Madrid beckoned?.. rest is history? ![]() Arsenals are the firm favorites to take the 3 point from the ties this afternoon with Sunderland! ![]() And on the international front England face Brazil today in an international friendly that has given Premier League managers with players on duty a reason to pull out of these friendly?s, but for Fabio Capello it may just provide a clearer picture of how far his England sides has come under his leadership. ![]() England's team have been cut to pieces by injury to such a point he may end up started the match himself so I hope he has packed his own boots. ![]() ![]() Gareth Barry, Wayne Rooney are the walking injured, and we already know that John Terry picked up an ankle injury yesterday morning that makes him doubtful to start. ![]() Brazil, like England, cruised to qualification for South Africa 2010. |

a big loss to chelsea indeed...but from the summer transfers made, they still have a strong squad and theyve always had a deep midfield; lots of quality stand-in replacements...we'll see what jerkoff-zhirkov can do lol...oh? and who becomes the stand-in skipper for the duration of john terry's absence from first team?
big match indeed on the 29th when gunners take on chelsea at emirates...we're in form...lamps is out...john terry idk...but at least drogba is fit...we just need to hope that we get no injuries to van persie or arshavin...if chelsea wins without lampard and JT...we're not talking anymore philipa...lol jk why is barcelona going after rooney? they just bought zlatan, have the best player in the world in my opinion in messi, the best defender in my opinion in carles puyol...basically stole thierry henry from us..they dont need anymore strikers...nor will they stick him at midfield, not woth xavi, iniesta, and keita starting...he wont leave united..i understand why he left everton for united..seriously, who wouldnt...everton is a big club yes, but its freakin' manchester united oh and your theme song if arsenal lost would be very much appreciated...i would indeed need a song for mourning...lol oh and off subject...ufc 105 is today...michael bisping(england's MMA hero) won..in great fashion..takedowns..ground & pound, and thats all she wrote. |

Brazil sparkled with a masterclass display of world class football, I don?t think England have anything to be embarrassed about, a England team decimated by injuries this friendly was always going to make this friendly look one sided and hats off to Sir Alex (Man U) who released Rooney and Wes Brown that gallantly kept Brazil from dealing an outclassed England even more humiliation.
England Battled against a far superior Brazil and the margin could have been far greater when Brown's attempt to chest the ball back to Foster only let in Nilmar, who was then pulled down by Foster as he went around the England keeper. More startling was the double reprieve gifted to England first by local referee Abdullah Abdou, who declined to send Foster off, an astonishing decision, and second as Luis Fabiano lashed the resulting penalty yards over the bar. Then England enjoyed more good fortune when defender Lucio sent a humdinger of a rising 25-yard drive that rattles the woodwork with Foster well beaten. Rooney did test Brazil keeper Julio Cesar with a low shot and there was something of a late surge attempt by England, but in reality Brazil were hardly ever disturbed and coasted out with ease for a well deserved victory. Oh kayoko I can?t wait for the Chelsea Arsenal London derby on the 29th what a gem of a fixture, but I have grave news for you Van Persie sustained a serious ankle injury in Holland friendly against Italy, Van Persiae was rushed to Hospital just 12 minutes into the match when he collapsed to the ground following a heavy challenge from Italian defender Chiellini..Arsenal fear he could miss the rest of the season Looking grim for the 29th ?.Chelsea luck might be changing ? ![]() |
