well when arsenal played wolves, they scored 4 goals as well...they got an unnecessary break from league play after they seemed unstoppable winning match after match by bigger and bigger margins...got out of form playing with different teammates during national duties and just killed great chemistry...we looked confused at times despite owning 2/3 of the game with the ball against sunderland...ended up losing 1:0 after a deflection from fraizer campbell was knocked in for the winner...now we're facing a tough game to try and rebound from..aginst the league leaders.but its our job to go out and win..to slow them down to kep this race tight and allow united to catch up..as long as 1 and 2 are close...3 will always follow close...

surprised? just days after the bayern munich chief says that chelsea has made a 'massive' bid for franck ribery, it is reported that chelsea has made a 'massive' bid, this one announced: ?100 million for sergio 'kun' aguero from atletico madrid...

are they trying to get both of them? i understand that roman abramovic is filthy loaded with money but, i just dont see why he makes such decisions. i guess chelsea arent 'playing fun enough' for abramovic's tastes. your thoughts philipa?

oh this weekend, looks im catching the game from tv with you...my football channel highlights this as game of the week!!

red vs blue!!
north london vs west london!!
arsenal vs chelsea!!

3 big points up for grabs..a draw isnt even worth it now..its either all or nothing..to me rather...london will be well represented..

to think this weekend MU will against a weak opponent, but they should not take it easy. Because if the result were draw... it gonna be really hard to chase Chelsea

Well Kayoko ?.?45.000,000 , Roman Abramovich tells Chelsea to make record bid for Ribery, and has told Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay to close the deal in January for the Bayern Munich winger, and are prepared to wait until the summer, a move that will see Ribery become the high paid player in the premiership...

Bayern Munich have stated that Ribery is under contract until 2011, however Ribery's future at Bayern is looking more unstable as the winger failed to make appearances at the crucial Champions League qualifier with Maccabi Haifa saying his wife is suffering with swine flu of all things, and at the same time venting his frustration with Bayern lack of form.

Chelsea on the other hand have cruised into the second round of the Champions league, while Bayern on the other hand have to beat Juventus away their final game if they are to reach the last sixteen..

Abramovich will offer ?200,000 a week for the France winger in hope of luring him to Stamford Bridge.

My thoughts... a waste of money and lets be honest when is Abramovich going to leave Ancelottei to manage?..He can't help interfering.. look at the fiasco over the dismissal of the special one Jose M arguably managed Chelsea's most successful period in resent years, he foisted players on Jose M he frankly did not even ask for....One thing that makes the Premiership the best is it's so unpredictable, Man U and Arsenal has shown that careful nurturing of young apprentices pays dividends to both football as a business and the spirit enshrined in the wonderful game.....

Arsenal v Chelsea lets take a closer look ?..

Sunday, 29 November 2009,Premier League Arsenal v Chelsea
Venue: Emirates Stadium Date: Sunday, 29 November Kick-off 1600 GMT Coverage: Full commentary BBC London 94.9 fm, DAB, DSAT & online, BBC Sport website, BBC Radio 5 Live, local radio, live on Sky Sports & highlights on Match of the Day 2

?I believe for us the most important thing is to stick to our game, do not focus on any special individual on the other side ?.....Arsene Wenger.....

OK Kayako the Blues are eight point clear with arsenal having one game in hand the pressure have got to be on Arsenal who with all their skill and a passionate young side have not lifted a trophy since 2005

Arsene Wenger has told his young team to prove their "moment has come" as they prepare to host Premier League leaders Chelsea on Sunday"

?Here is a period for any team to come out and show its strength. For my team, this moment has come," said Wenger. "We have the strength and we want to show we're strong enough to beat them." Arsenal are third in the table a win for the Gunners would close the gap to just five points. Defeat however, would make a challenge for the Premier League title an extremely difficult prospect against Carlo Ancelotti's Chelsea, "We are not any more a team that has to be considered to be young," gushed Wenger ?.?I believe for us the most important thing is to stick to our game, do not focus on any special individual on the other side, because you win these kind of games by dominating the game. If we focus too much on Chelsea it won't help us."

I will be lurking Kayako ?..no going walk about now ?

Val.... Man U are still the bookies favourite... Ryan Giggs will be hoping to score his 100th Premier League goal on the eve of his 36th birthday, a modern day Bobby Charlton for sure, and what makes football players such icons for younger players hoping to make their mark in a sometimes cruel game ?.

United are the only team in the Premier League who have not dropped any points from a winning position in the league this season.

true..united and arsenal develop players well while chelsea, no disrespect to them being successfuland all, seems to be the real madrid of the premiership. scout and buy..not blaming chelsea board, possibly being abramovich's doing to further bolster an already strong squad...questionable buying might be problem for the blues...having drogba already, they brought in andriy shevchenko, despite no interest from mourinho. the result, no relationship between the two. barely any places in first team and i guess you can say 'ruining' his run of dominance.

and i assumed ribery wouldnt stay at bayern for long...having a club that strong and yet sitting 5th..mediocre to them...another reason on why you dont let your best defender in lucio go think that one player wont make a difference..i just thought that real madrid, hate to say it but, would finish the job they couldnt throughout the summer in january.

atletico madrid seems to have found a striker in the works..aguero linked to the premiership and diego forlan expressing his interest to go back to england after his brief, unsuccessful stint with united..alot could godown in january..be prepared to be shocked..

and be lurking pips..after sunday we'll find out if arsenal really has a legitimate shot at winning the league..wenger basically told his squad to man up..so its all set for arsenal, derby match at home...they have to be confident and worried at the same time..

kudos

ashley cole set-up volley for drogba to open things, vermaelen own goal identical to drogba's 3 minutes later, and reminiscince of cristiano ronaldo on drogba's screamer of a free-kick to put the 'cherry on top'..

after sunday's result, i think its clear cut that we gooners are in a load of trouble..no van persie. no potentcy in attack up front. no points. men against boys in a 3-0 chelsea demolition. top 4 pretender you can say we are right now..loss here loses a spot to well playing tottenham and we're sitting pretty for villa. not long for them to take 4th spot by recent form....we must start winning and to hold off the climbers but tough without a muscle players...

muscle you ask? traore just bounces off drogba in attempt to grab hold of him. arshavin gets bulldozed by ivanovic on a challenge for the ball..men against boys no? intimidators like vieira and sol campbell we need..not lunchbag-size toys like denilson, vela, or eduardo. you trade power for speed, but when you have a team straightly built for outpacing the opposition but fail to do so..well the answer is quite obvious. you lose, and you lose big just like sunday.

its obvious that not having lifted any silverware since '05 i think a little encouragement is needed to bring quality depth to a youth filled club. mainly at striker. very disappointing if arsene wenger expects eduardo to carry the load with arshavin the rest of the season because they cant. we need to buy at least one striker and pray bendtner can be fit gunnerspeed!! midfielders also need a big upgrade..half of arsenal's often first team midfielders should be 2nd team at best..hardly any depth at all, and with that thin depth all built like featherweights.

having said you can see im clearly depressed over arsenal's recent form. just shocked on how fast reality of the league just caught up in a blink of an eye..makes it even tougher to accept the fact that we, are no longer in title contention.

Didier Drogba was terrific, and John Terry played an influential role, in fact a more deserving 2man of the match2 than Drogba, who rightly scored 2 cracking goals that took his stats against Arsenal to 10 in nine games, but it was Terry that showed leadership and innovation to marshal an impregnable Chelsea defence that choked and smothered very attempted Arsenal attack. Terry even made a deep run that assisted in Drogba first goal!

It must be pointed out that the absence Van Persie and Bendtner made this a painful experience for Arsenal and not just because and on form Close delivered the crosses, but because Arsenal dominated the possession throughout the whole Match that made little impression and one can understand Arsene Wengers total after match frustration which Drogba ?fortune??..Arsenal passes fully executed 479?Chelsea ?.378?Chelsea were consistent and ruthless in seizing the opportunities on offer ?

And lets salute Arsenal and there players and management for donating there wages (salary) for the day to Great Ormonds Street Children?s Hospital on a weekend that Cesc Fabregas said Arsenal fans were proud to pay ?40 to watch them.

Kayako ?.as Redknapp quipped as Tottenham were close to the bottom, don?t be too down hearted Son give me 10 games then we will see ?..halfway through the Premiership give or take a game, if the past has anything to go by ?.Arsenal will be a head to toe contender?.

If not ?..ho hum?.let leave that for now yes ?.I have a taste for ?let it snow?..Hikki and Mika style..

Wayne Rooney?s hat trick and Veteran Ryan Giggs sealing his 100th Premier League goal that capping a consistent benchmark performance throughout an illustrious career, and this a day ahead of the his 36th birthday.
To lighten the mood Rooney meets his favourite band the Stereophonics.

Yes I did Val? Paris Saint-Germain v Auxerre?quote:
"It's definitely a fracture of the left leg," Kombouare said after seeing his goalkeeper leave the pitch on a stretcher in the 82nd minute, he went straight to hospital and we'll know more about how serious it is on Sunday. He'll be unavailable for a long time and it will be very complicated (to get him back before the end of the season)." "It's a very serious injury, it's shocking," added Kombouare. "It sends a chill down your spine. We're losing a great player and a big leader."
PSG left-back Sylvain Armand said: "I was close to the incident and I saw the bone poke through his sock."??..Val ?..AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ?bone poking thought Sock???makes your eyes water ..

im feeling pumped for this weekend..im talking again pippa...you know who chelsea plays this weekend?? ♪manchester!! city!!♪ looks like a draw..city has gone even the past 7 matches..the trend shall continue..gunners are linked up with west ham i think..not sure where the venue is but if its at upton park..im excited..playing away, but west ham have yet to record a home clean sheet..something they'll need to address after christmas. if that continues arsenal is guaranteed goals!! if you dont score, you get what you got against chelsea, but do score, then its our match to be won..
