That's the whole reason I bookmarked utadanet when Hikki started tweeting and I stumbled upon this thread. Well, and Hikki tweeting was the whole reason I joined twitter lol.

Daddy is something softer than papa. Dad is somewhere between papa and otousan. Father is otousan or otousama. When you say "chi chi ga" to other people, it would be "My father". RT @abecchi_hitomi: Is "chi chi" a nuance?
