im worried for it like hell...its been tense for quite a while...its been calm recently but it just flared to this magnitude...not even sure what started this conflict..the nukes im guessing from while back...why north korea would want war?..its them against the world...if they had the populaion of like china then yea, but its no bigger than the state of florida(alot smaller im sure)

I don't know which one to blame, is it because US Gov statement when North Korea test their long range intercontinental missile, it said the missile can bring nuclear warhead ( people need to remember the caused of nuclear radiation "Hiroshima and Nagasaki". the test of long range N Korea missile make N korea more closed to the world.

Or N Korea Gov ... sry to say but N Korea Gov like to improve their military stuff, than their agriculture or other technology. I watch the news that more poeple from N Korea dare to risk their life to go to South Korea, which their think more saver.

i guarantee you that the civilian population doesnt want war...its just the government's doing and they expect the entire nation to stand by them if it comes to war..the ones who do not want conflict try to move away to china, or even as you said..south korea

Well i agree about civilian doesn't want a war, i think all of people in this world don't want war too.

I think N Korea Gov need to more open to the world. its just this Nuclear thing make me confused South Korea have a Nuclear plant and N Korea didn't do the positive thing like that... rather than their military stuff .

I wouldn't want the two Koreas to be at war with each other coz I love Korea too. I just can't see the purpose in having the war. I think North Korea's just trying to flaunt its military power. This's the main motive of the missile tests this year.


Furthermore,it's also an act of rebellion to show disatisfaction caused by the sanctions imposed by the U.S.

I agree with kayoko that the civilians would not want a war. However, the final decision lies with the government. The point is, they can't do anything about it. It will always be a communist country, unless they agree to accept the conditions in the six-way nuclear disarment talks.

n. korea would think that if they did agree in terms of the disarment talks, they are being taken advantage of easily...if they have power, they wouldnt let anything come in their way of using it...so they'll keep threatening until they have nothing to boast about.

Perhaps the five countries should give nkorea some incentives so they will not think that they are being taken advantage of. There's no point compelling them and doing the hard way. Both sides should just give in to each other... That would be the best ending to communism.

yea well if money is the form of incentive youre thinking about, id think of something else...n.korea got their funding for those nukes somewhere and can probably reuse that option if costs happen to fall short..n.korea has the advantage in terms the disarment talks...they can do whatever they want to just rip off the other 5 countries just for their country to prosper..and the 5 countries arent stupid to fall into the hands of n.korea...so basically its an ongoing process with no end in sight...

Yea...They have been talking for years and nothing has been concluded. Let's just wait for nkorea's leader to be replaced and we'll see how it goes.. Let's hope that there's no war outbreak.

i think i heard news from yahoo korea a while back that he was diagnosed with some cancer...never checked to confirm, but..if its true...lol..horible way to put it but...he just has to go...he's not going to be overthrown though thats for sure..i heard n.korea considered him to be their greatest leader...ever
