do any asian families celebrate thanksgiving...my family doesnt care...we just eat turkey if we're in the mood...cause like last week my mom asked me "hey do you wanna eat turkey next thursday?" sometimes we do sometimes we dont...its kinda weird for me.

My family goes all out with Thanksgiving. I love it.
You know, Thanksgiving isn't explicitly an American Holiday. Maybe American Thanksgiving is, but other countries have or have had similar holidays - even ancient Roman pagans celebrated the end of the harvest year with a feast. It just makes sense, and it's fun! |

My family is pretty big about it. Since i have a huge family (grandparents had 12 kids. All kids are married and have atleast 2 kids) we take it pretty seriously. Its more like a reunion to us.

Yeah...I'd be having fun with Thanksgiving this year too, but...well, it'll seem like I'm pointing fingers. Honestly, I don't care, because if we went all out, it would make me feel worse about being single for so long. (My cousins chat about who they're dating, and I'm sort of just left out, so...) Because my brother has had a brain injury for a few years, we're having Thanksgiving at home...a very quiet one. o.o
