8th anniversary of Deep River album today

I wish I was interested when Utada was at her full potential. Back then, I don't think I would be interested in Japanese music, and I think it would be all corny lol. I was only 8 once that album came out, so that would explain a lot of things. Damn I wish I were older xD. It was until 2004 I heard her for the first time, 2008 when I heard some other songs, and last year/early this year is when I heard them all. I haven't heard all her remixes yet though, nor watched all her music videos.

Also, I used the wayback machine to bring up hikkicentral.com, and the early days of this website. Too bad you can't pull up any pictures from hikkicentral.

Jeez, I remember those years being the bomb, and remember what I was doing at that time. Even though I was a whole lot younger, I wish I were older like I said to enjoy things more in depth.

I'm just wondering, who actually calls Hikaru, Hikki while saying it in real life? I say Hikaru, Utada, Utada Hikaru, or Hikaru Utada. I only use Hikki when I am typing it to shorten things up, but rarely use it. Only times are like for jokes or whatever that I actually say Hikki.

I was obsessed with MJ like a lot of people, but when I got to actress, it was hard for me to think of one. I then randomly thought of the girl who sung Simple and Clean, and then "BAM!" her name just came back to me. Even though she technically isn't an actress, at least she could fit. She did cameo in a Japanese show once. I then started to lose interest in Michael Jackson for a little bit, and started to rediscover Utada, because she is too unique. I joined this forum because I wanted to find other people who liked Utada, and who had similar interests since a lot of us are Otakus.
