Whether you have perfect vision or not, it still doesn't matter anyway. We will still grow old and our vision no matter how perfect it is will still deteriorate.

Besides, I wanna know what's good about being near-sighted as well.

Off-topic, but I think Hikaru is far-sighted. If you're near-sighted, you don't really need to wear glasses to read, unlike far-sighted people.

I do that just to make myself look smart sometimes.
