Oh I'm not saying Asians can't compete... I happen to like Asians quite a bit... what I'm saying is China is notorious for doing dirty deeds and then covering it up...
Course as a US citizen I'm not gonna rock the boat too much... China owns most of the United States' debt... they can sink us like a rock... I hate my president for getting us in this mess...

Oh and I found this funny vid on SpikedHumor.com

I'm a little upset with China. They've clearly lied about the ages of some of their gymnasts. I watched the All Around Finals last night, and it even said on the screen that the girl who screwed up her vault was 14 and another athlete was 15.

Granted, it doesn't matter much now considering China got a bronze, and U.S. medaled gold & silver both, but it still isn't fair or safe that they could've most likely fudged the girls' passports. There's an age limit for a reason. That also really screws with the integrity of the entire Olympic games and committee.

Not to rag on China as a whole, just the gymnastic part. The girls -are- wonderful athletes, but if their ages were changed on legal documents so that they could qualify for the team, it puts a lot at stake.

so lets not blow out chance to prove ourselves that we can compete with the best of the world despite being asian...everyone underestimates asians when it comes to sports...

Haha, even I underestimated asians. I didn't think China would win a medal in any swimming competitions but then woosh, they got gold and silver in the women's division.

But for some sports, I think it's pretty obvious the asians would loose. Like b-ball. The Chinese players looked like sticks next to the US players. ('cept for YaoMing)

Darn it, China lost the gold medal in the women gymnastics. But that Natia is really good.

well atleats they put up a good fight, better then most of country's cuz they were winning in the first quarter but then US blaze them

and to abunai, i don't think they would lie about their age lolz and remember that asian don't age alot

Didn't they say the girls were all in the age limit?

Just quoting from the commentators:
"Just think, why would China use some one younger, with less experience, instead of someone who's older, with more experience?"

I don't know, the girls look like sixteen to me. I've seen Chinese girls who looks like 12 but in reality is 16-17.

I think with gymnastics, because of all the flexibility involved, youth is a pretty significant advantage. A girl who hasn't hit puberty would probably be a much better candidate for a gold, right?

HAHAHA Aijin...lol.
I'm all for China but if the Chinese girls who competed in the gymnastics actually ARE underage, that's just terrible...and that'd be freaking stupid for China to pull off some crap like that. o.O Hopefully they didn't ? :/

China never seems to enter many people in swimming or track. xDDDD
