I had a blast at the concert! Waited in line since 6AM & met some cool people along the way. I'm still sore all over and my ears are ringing still. O___o

Utada looked gorgeous! Her outfit was so cute! Black top with a cute leopard print skirt and really cute boots. Her singing was excellent. She was feeling the music and the audience and you could see it with the way she performed. I personally loved when she performed You Make Me Want to Be a Man, MC-FYI,Sakura Drops and First Love. DJ Rizzo was good. His music choice was fine. He wasn't on the stage DJing that much though.

I made my way to the balcony because of the non stop pushing through the door. That was not necessary and it completely annoyed the shit out of me...that and the loud fanboys. I'm glad she told that guy to be quiet. When she's trying to say something, don't interrupt her, that was really rude. Have some common courtesy and just calm down.

Lastly,

I really...REALLY wish that there was some merchandise for the concert. We couldn't take photos and what not...so let us at least have a shirt or something. I was only able to record her coming back onto the stage for the encore and that's about it. There was a lot of staff looking out for any cameras. They even had one of them come upstairs and yell at the person behind me. I hope there will be a DVD for this too.

If she's ever gonna tour again, most likely NY will be one of the stops. Its her home & one of the biggest cities.

You kidding? I got patted down after the guy knew what was in my coat. (That means I got it twice) I don't know how people got the cameras in, but they weren't smart with it at all. So the video was a bit iffy to get. She also said something about it being up on youtube. She asked us if we were going to write about her. Then she asked if it was good things.

The outfit was kinda 80's-ish. Think of how they dressed back then, and you get the idea. The Guitarist was friggin' Amazing!!! I couldn't resist a wombo combo reference and screamed, "That ain't Carlos Santanna!!!" Dude was good and sick with it. I liked when she just walked up to him during his solo and kinda rested her arm on his shoulder.

Also the thing was pretty funny, "You need to stop talking!!" She didn't say it mean at all. It was playful, but you could tell she meant business.

Kremlin Dusk was amazing. She peaked on the very first high note, but she hit the rest great. and You make me want to be a man, not one of my favorites (I still like it, xD), but it sounds SO much better live.

She also commented on how well we know the songs. I caught her looking at me during a couple of the songs. "Can you keep a secret" I was on point with quite a bit.

First love and Automatic had a very large crowd singing with her. I think the loudest was Kremlin Dusk/Sakura Drops. Followed by the chorus/Bridge support on Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence/FYI. Also when Rizzo put the Dirty Desire remix on. (Seriously, it took me and a couple people to start acting stupid and singing along with Kesha for people to get hype.)

The song I heard the least singing on was Can you Keep a secret, which leads me to believe most people didn't know that song, xD. People knew the english part...and that was it. (Ironically the crowd went wild over the song, anyway.)

When she got on the piano, it took a bit of my loud high pitch voice to get people going, xD. (I love having a wide vocal range)

Both Mike and Utada got the warmest welcome in NY, for sure. There should have been an NJ spot, though. NJ gets hype like no other.

I only met one person from Utadanet but I didn't catch their username. I saw you, TadakoXIII, when you held your picture up and when u showed it to the camera in line. You were a few people to the left of me in the concert I think.

Anyway, it was the best thing of my life and I think I can die happy now. =]

LAAAAAWL YESSS, I SAW YOU. XD I passed by you when you were waiting on line (when I took breaks from waiting in line and went to Union Square's B&N for pee breaks. :D)

All I thought was.. "Hey. That girl came with her mom. I think she's that teen from Utadanet. 8D"

I saw you in the crowd too~~ <3

I am also in central NJ, Princeton area. I wonder how many Jersey/Philly people went to the show.

ps.. Today I thought back on watching her sing 'First Love' last night. Watching her sing that was something really special.

Yeah, I'm 20-ish minutes from Princeton. I went home with a group from TCNJ (a good handful, like 5-8 peeps including the one friend I brought with me) and we took the train to Hamilton. Oh man, I totally knocked out on the way there and they woke us up just when we had to get off. It was like woke up, got up, let the train and THEN became aware of my senses while I was walking toward my parents' car. XD The moment was quite delirious.

lol near the end of the waiting when people were coming late and trying to cut in the line I loved when "Okaasan" was sending them back to the end of the line and your sign "End of the line" lool

I stayed after to watch her go into her limo I got her to sign my "-Ten-" wish I could have gotten her to sign "-Sen-" also but next time!

They allowed us to take pictures but when some guy used his flash they started acting nuts on him, I dunno does it do something to your skin her bothers her alot?
Got some crappy photos of this too lol.

If you stare really good you can make Hikki out lol:
Hikki1
Hikki2
Hikki3
Hikki4
Hikki5

I also saw the old Japanese couple I really thought it was her parents but she didn't introduce them so I don't know what to think

ROFL AAHAHA OH MAN. Srsly the way they separated the people in front of the line was SO MISLEADING!! people kept thinking it was the end of the line -- like, srsly?!1! >_>

Aaaaahhhhh, I couldn't stay behind.. I had to catch the train back home!! ;__; Man, thinking about it now, maybe I could've showed her the drawing I did... >_> But man -- YER SO LUCKY. XD

OMFG I WAS SINGING ALONG TO ALMOST ALL OF THE SONGS. And If i wasn't singing, I was just mouthing it because I wanted to hear her voice. X'D Oh my god, my one friend was asking us all what are favorite parts were... and I couldn't really decide on an answer! I LOVED THE WHOLE CONCERT. The Exodus'04 songs were performed so excellently, I LOVED it. Stay Gold and Sakura Drops were SO FRIGGIN' GOOD. I am a SUCKER for piano songs. AND THAT GUITARIST. OH MAN. That was amazing. XD He was soo cool with his shades on~~

Anyway, props to you for hyping the crowd. I hated that Ke$ha song but that's okay. XD

Also HELLZ YEAH JERSEY SHOULD'VE HAD A SPOT. But that's okay. We're still winners. :D
