If it's the Japan Version..that usually means region 2 =( but if you by chance have a MAC computer, it'll play region 2 dvds..

For those of you that still are up in the air over this, the region code is indeed #2 on the bonus DVD for the UHSCV2, my mom FINALLY broke down and got it for me as an early x-mas gift this past Thursday  !; HOWEVER, if you're a a happy owner of a MAC PC of some sort (as yours truly is) it should playback on that no problem (or any standard, code-enforced DVD player if you know how to hack or alternate it; just look around on the net for clues and tips)!...This only applies, as of writing, to the people who pre-ordered from Yesasia.com before the November 14/17th deadline; CD Japan,HMV Japan, Tower Records Japan, and all the others have yet to specify on their page for the CD, but it's a relatively safe bet to say they won't be region #2; this is of course Utada's first DVD bundled release of sorts and most Japanese editions of anything by anyone are indeed that #2 with an International or non-Asian edition that's Region 0 (or worldwide), so you better ask twice if you don't wanna be stuck with a pointlessly unplayable DVD, but like I said previously above, you can still circumvent this rather easily! @ any rate, she's already up to #1 on the Daily Pre-rankings @ Yesasia.com,Tower Records Japan and CD Japan, meaning anticipation is surely brooding to a breaking point of no first-pressings. It'll be something truly amazing if she can break the million mark in her first week like Taylor Swift did w/ 'Speak Now' but its a tougher and different monster in the Japanese music biz, so we'll just have to 'wait & see'... Now, does anyone know if Yesasia.com's first press bonus come with the 3-fold sleeve and photobooklet as well? It only mentions the bear charm and GH DVD, while all the other sites mention those two as well as the WILD LIFE lottery ticket drawing? This is so confusing how they can't stay on one accord about this!...  |

Some of you are really annoying about this same matter...I don't know how many times you needed to be explained to you. It's like someone says it and BAM!! out your ear it goes.
YESASIA ARE A BUNCH OF RETARDS WHEN IT COMES TO THIS SORT OF MATTER. "WHY DOES IT SAY REGION 2?"you ask. BECAUSE INTERNET VENDORS ONLY ASSUME THE WORST! understand? IF YOU DIDN'T CATCH THIS. VENDORS ASSUME THE WORST. Besides, I would expect any of you to already know that Hikaru's dvds have ALWAYS BEEN REGION FREE. You all get? Pardon my rudeness, but c'mon people |
