aaaaaamazing!!

She was so awesome!
I did harbour doubts about her, and hadnt really listened to her stuff for a little while now.
And that farce with Ticketweb made me listen even less, lest it peed me off even more...

however, her singing was great, her voice powerful, and she had great presence, and she just looked wonderful - so much better - dare i say it - 'in the flesh'!! She really does!

it moved me to hear quite a few songs that i hadnt heard for years, and some of the new ones are cool too.

dont worry about going alone - plenty of people did, me too, but got chatting to other people real easy. Everyone was friendly.
In the end i did meet people i did know inside, but i had no idea that they were going.

They do aquick body search, missed my camera, but i only took one shot before quick as a 'flash', staff were in my face telling me i'll be kicked out if they see me with a phone or a camera again.
For the most part they have guys on the upper deck, watching and radioing to the guys on the ground floor, and either directing or marking people taking photos.
People then get told not to do it.
Torches are flashed at people taking photos.

i saw other iphone people taking photos but unless youre lucky, or with proper gear, the photos were nearly always quite bad.
[i shoot gigs properly so i know the difference the right gear can make]

its tight in there, but thats the environment i like. i hate stadium shows.
a beer was 3.80.

one girl [?] passed out and was hauled to the rear.

Hikki said she liked London, and attempted a Dick Van (censored) impression [ie. really bad cockney accent], talked about how she had been there before.
She spoke 60/40 towards English - the crowd was morelike 70/30 to Japanese/asian, which was impressive.
Lots of tall english guys blocking the view of hoards of shorter Japanese/asians!

I didnt see any proper photographers - did anyone see any? Were they on the upper deck?

Anyway, Hikki, in summary was highly impressive, and quite wonderful!

I'm going to have to dig out my old collection and order some new ones...

5 stars ***** !!!

edit:
Dick Van (censored) is censored?! lol
i meant the guy who is the cockney chimney sweep in Mary Poppins!!
A benchmark for stereotypical 'cockney' impressions of Londoners!

Unless youre early, getting to the front is nigh on impossible.

Hikki wore a simple black dress, little straps, ruffled bottom to it - couldnt really see her legs or feet, but reckoned her legs were bare.
She had a loose silvery top over the top of the black dress, that occasionally slipped down one shoulder.
Hair was loosely styled to one side, shoulder length.
bracelets i think.
when she played her little keyboard, she put a cloth in front of it so people 'cant see up her skirt'...

i think one of the stage crew [val?] accidently wobbled the mic stand so it hit her in the mouth early on.
She said that the venue was smaller than she thought it would be, and said she kept bumping into the keyboards, and tried not tripping up over guitar pedals.
[which she feared would be on youtube if she did]

She likes Paris too.

Hope you guys had fun

Were there any funny antics or hikki quotes?

From what i can see from the pictures of her previous concerts, i think she was sexy today. loved her outfit white over black dress, with one of her legs in white and the other in black. black heels.

there was also a pro photograph taking a lot of pictures in front of me.

but yeah, as i am short, if i wasnt in the first line, i wouldnt be able to get a good view of her. lots of tall english people in front.

also, one of her straps (left) fell off her arm near the end of the show (before encore).

she made a lot of funny jokes, really enjoyed the show. but the wait was long though, i was there from 2+ and only managed to see her at 8.15. was so hungry by then.

and if im not wrong, forrest threw the drumsticks to the crowd which utada used, and i think it was signed. unsure though

ah, that makes sense.
they have control over the concert photography, with their own photographer then.
[tbh, i dont like the tour photos that have come out [on her site] unless the pro pics come out much later and are for publication differently, ie. tour dvd promo pics]

thanks for enlightening us about the legs - i couldnt see below her dress, and yes, agreed then, that she was sexiest tonight then!

2+ ?? blimey!

i arrived late from work, about 6:40 but there was still a huge queue outside and on to the street.
once we were in, the dj set didnt seem very long.

for some reason i thought forrest threw the ones he used [or was he playing something different?]

she was in good spirits!

I really enjoy your review...but can you refrain from using the bolded phrase? I know this is kinda nitpicky but some people find that easily offensive and might take it the wrong way.

Thank you for taking care of it!

This is some photo that i got, yeah i would she looks damn hot yesterday night. Even my friends who came along with me, they usually think hikki just looks decent, became crazy about how good she looks.

Haha yeah, there's one girl who shouted that she waited for six hours, and i think she answered, "aww, poor little girl" Then another guy said that he did the same too, then she replied "poor... little man?" She's so dorky indeed.

you got a ball? lucky!
i think what she said was 'poor crazy little girl' and 'poor crazy little man'.. haha

and she also commented about how when she speaks in japanese, everyone goes crazy especially when they dont understand what she's saying.

her first line was 'kyo wa nihonjin ...', basically asking if there are any japanese in the house and everyone just shouted =s

she also joked about how she was checking her dress to make sure her bra doesnt show. and she loves drinking water..haha

im not sure which one forrest threw, but my gf said he threw the ones utada dropped on the floor. didnt really pay attention myself.

i was afraid to take out my iphone to snap a picture, didnt wanna risk getting pulled out from the front row

also, the staff were quite strict, they didnt allow glowsticks...confiscated them. and better not bring any food/drink as they'll just throw them away too.

some girl also shouted she wanted utada to marry her, and so utada joked about how it might be common in some countries.

cant wait for tomorrow's show, hopefully she'll do something different since it will be the last.

yea no glowsticks, and no explanation was given either.
i think they made a last minute change to the curfew to 9.30 instead of 10+, although the concert ended at ~10.10

when they setup the barries

queue at 6pm, didnt look that bad

after the encore, blurry pic due to dark lighting
