I'm jealous,I really like the way Yuusuke Nakamura draws and I kinda imitate his styling for hair but I can't color for shit.I'm color impaired -_-.

well its ok i was color impaired too D: but i push myself and practice A LOT OF PRACTICE trust me *hits own head* but i'd say you'd have to be sensitive to how you see things, since i practice even when i'm not drawing, observing how light hits object, what color it makes etc.

yo this is a nice piece!

i know just the thing to improve this artwork of yours. try to add a layer above this jpeg (on photoshop maybe) and drag another pic. (a TEXTURED pic) and change the layer values from normal to overlay ( or try the other layer values)

for the first piece,
*the background's perspective didnt matched to tha main model/character.
*nice hair details
*proportions of the body must have some little adjustments esp the left hand... also, it will look more 'girly' if the waist part is slimmer and curvy..

for the 2nd artwork,:
*i prefer to have 'darker' shadings for the face. i know that its very uncomfortable to shade a model's face but face shades are very important esp on a portrait like this. itll add details, depth, and emotions

You know i've been trying to learn more about knowing how to add textures/gradients and etc, but i don't know EXACTLY how to do it, so i'm learning bit by bit xD

Here's my new one........its an art trade with a friend, and my god this took forever.............but i feel happy that i was able to push myself and was happy how this turn out. but if anyone wants to read more description you can read it here

Bottom right character look creepy, something wrong with his/her stomach ? Lupey and both of them knee look to big . Sry my opinion
