Ha Ha how ironic, Rooney?s opener barely a few minutes into the match signalled a very promising start but alas this was not to last as Man U lost control and procession then found themselves dropping further back into their own half as Bayern started to take control of large portions of the match. Neville was no match for Ribery, looking increasingly uncomfortable around the French international, why the hell did Neville handle the ball that gifted the freekick was bewildering, the subsequent spot kick wormed it way through the wall and defected off Rooney into the net ...The icing on the cake was courtesy of Evra?s dilly dallying with the ball that resulted in Olic stealing and wining the leg...
Although Man U are ?sure? the injury to Rooney?s ankle is not serious this won?t be confirmed until Wednesday, Chelsea will be hoping that Rooney will not be match fit for Saturday?s crucial premiership match draw. Ah Val ...... Chelsea will be ready, and there was no doubt that Rooney needed to be ?carried? of the pitch, Sir Alex resembled a headless chicken on the side line as he clearly wondered what else could go wrong... Arsenal V Barcelona, what did Kayoko say again??, something about the two best ?passing? team in the solar system meeting....... ![]() ...What has Kayoko been drinking?? ....Well we are about to find out tonight when Fabregas and co come up against the likes of Messi and Xavi ....and handball Henry lol.....Sorry Kayoko but Henry should never be allowed to forget it..... ![]() |

Arsene Wenger and Pep Guardiola have allot to be proud of after delivering a spectacle of pure magic, an undeniable masterpiece of the most delightfully beautiful example of football I have seen, in the first 30 minutes Arsenal appeared over whelmed, Barcelona were glorious and mesmerising, if it hadn?t been for Arsenals courage and Keeper Manuel Almunia who kept out the onslaught of Messi, Xavi, and Ibrahimovic as thought his life depended on it , oh but the artistry of Barcelona, their game, the passing, the pleasure of witnessing the abilities of true world class craftsman dedicated to their skills.
In the first half hour of the match Barcelona dominated taking and securing 80% of the procession, the gallantry and spirit Arsenal deployed abruptly and consistently stopped Barcelona numerous attempts to score. Ibrahimovic scored just after half time with the opener following a pass from Pique, then ten minutes later adding a second when Xavi drilled a hole between the defensive partnership of Song and Clichy. Theo Walcott pulled back a goal and assisted in the build up to the foul on Fabregas, resulting in a Red for Puyol, with the subsequent penalty scored, the drama continued to unfold watching Fabregas limp off after the penalty. What a price Arsenal have paid, Gallas out for 4 -6 weeks with a calf injury and Fabregas fearing his season is over after suspecting his leg is broken. As high profile big matches come this is the dog's doo-dahs pure and simple the persistence of Arsenal in the wake of a Barcelona who started out as overwhelming favourites to progress to the semi finals, Wenger?s final words "a great football night. An exceptional football night", was no exaggeration ....Kayoko must be sipping a very deserved Pink Lady while proudly rejoicing a magnificent achievement after Wenger and co showed such heart and raw courage. ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry for the double post ![]() |

Yes a very deserved Pink Lady indeed..it looked typical like Barcelona play being 2-0 up, but the boy from Liverpool brought some life into the club and also assisted in the build up to the foul on Fabregas. Fabregas labelled “Fibreglass” is fitting indeed who fractured his fibula..the more of a burden he has to bear, the boy just can't take the weight.
Holy tonkatsu Val!! Wayne Rooney is out 2-4 weeks. Sir Alex insisted Mr. Ballon d'Or was fine, but it proved not. Can they win against Chelsea on the weekend? Berbatov will get the spotlight for sure and will probably be up front all by his onesy. I'll be lurking so hope your clubs win hehe..I'm going to meet Madam Palm and her five lovely daughters on the weekend and watch United and Chelsea frustrate each other for 90 minutes just for a point. ![]() Caught the CSKA Moscow match..not impressive by Inter but got the goal from Diego Milito. The guy has been on a scoring tear since being transferred from Genoa. A vicious high tackle on Wesley Sneijder was only worth a yellow for Evgeni Aldonin. Wrong call I thought; late challenge after Sneijder had given the ball up and needed quite some time to recover. Finally saw some of Keisuke Honda who had transferred to CSKA from VVV Venlo in January for 10 million Euros, a high asking price from the Dutch club. I was disappointed. No armband and lined up on the right side. He's an attacking left back with a powerful left foot. He deserves better. |

This is WAR pips WAAAAAAAAAAAAR lol Clash of 2 Titans Man U VS Chelsea, well Fergie planning to put Macheda as a striker. Is a bout time to give something to him, since he got talent just fergie doesn't trust him yet.
When i watch Barca VS Arsenal... one thing i hate it. " How in the world they didn't saw Ibra come " he was 198 cm for crying out lout..... can't you see him. Look how he easy he pass the defender, damn man its a terrible match and the second match will be on Barca side. Look how bad its gonna be. Glass of fiber and Gallas were still injured hmmmmm now further comment. Arsenal must scored 2 goal at least and no goal from Barca, that's the best scenario. But if the result were draw.... well what can i say. Well like pips said its a crucial match Man U must to stay on peak, and the gap between Chelsea were only 1 point left. I think Kayoko will be on pips side this time...since i know Kayoko totally hate Man U ![]() ![]() Last Can you believe it Liverpool lost to Benfica 1:2. How can that be a 5 times Champion League lost to a second class club. No offend Benfica fans XD |

Oh Val, I know how you must feel Drogba was clearly offside the Referee was ill positioned to judge, Sir Alex was rightly furious, it was a crucial moment in the match, Man U struggled for inspiration without Rooney, I honestly believed Berbatov would equalise, the champions league fixture beat the life out of United at key moments in the match they looking tired and lacked momentum.
Florent Malouda and Joe Cole played an outstanding match, but what will probably stick in the mind will be the circumstances surrounding Drogba goal he was at least a yard or more offside ...... ![]() Val is going to be very angry ...I found the whole affair embarrassing... ![]() Arsenal 1 Wolves 0 so Kayoko will not be losing any sleep ...one point behind Man U and three behind Chelsea .... |

Man U 1-2 Chelsea
Man U appeared sluggish in the first half. Joe Cole's goal is so #$%!. So many occassions of penalty yet it was not awarded. Mike Dean probably do not want to attract controversy that he awards penalty too freely. I think Man U should start looking for new players next season. Overdependence on Rooney, Giggs and other "old" players is starting to post problems. Macheda should get more field exposure, he has potential (and he is the top scorer in my FIFA game). |

Oh what has happened to professional football in the Premiership , just a glance at Chelsea?s woeful 2 -1 win and let?s be clear this was not a victory at Old Trafford against Manchester United, the drama was not a match of mesmerising twists and turns but a depressing clash of mediocrity, punctuated by shameful and frankly appalling examples of refereeing.
I adore Chelsea I want Chelsea to dominate the Premiership and win, and win in style, with panache, freshness, and first class levels of skilful football craftsmanship. But yesterdays match was poor, boring, dull, and stilted, there was no intensity, lacked any hint of quality it was a joyless run in to the end of a disappointing season....In truth both teams were disappointing , and on this performance they should offer the fans attending their money back .... ![]() ![]() |

Well are they capable of that? LOL..only kidding. It was a boring match, but you're going to get games like this. An offside not called was the difference so it was a shame indeed, but had that not been the case, then it would've been a draw. Though it's boring to fans who attend and watch, it all plays into strategy and caution in this case Chelsea and United were suffering from significant injuries on key players. Benfica aren't “second class” Val. Just because the Portuguese league isn't competitive enough like the Premiership, La Liga, Serie A, etc. doesn't mean they aren't capable of challenging the likes of Liverpool. Football is an unpredictable sport. This is why you get results like two years ago, Chelsea got knocked out of the Carling Cup to some Coca Cola League club. No club is guaranteed to win and because of it is why I love football so much. And United supporters, I've a question. Why do like this Macheda fellow so much. Last time I heard his name, he scored one good goal and hit a deflection claiming he “intended” to do it. lol Then when his name was called for the cup tie with Everton, he didn't do s***. I just see him as an overrated kid with a flambuoyant hairstyle. I always liked Danny Welbeck and was impressed with Fraizer Campbell when he was there, but Macheda..ehh..What do you see in the lad that makes you say, “finally”? |

Ugh arrrrghhh cant say no more pips.... you were right about the match
![]() ![]() Is it because no Rooney, so their mental were breakdown. This is 11 player against 11 player, not 1 person match. A bit relieved that Fergie says Rooney can play on 17 April against Man City. I think Fergie need new strategy not just on Rooney ![]() |
