?Messy Messi?...maybe..... Consider this Messi was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency requiring daily injections costing $750 per month over 2 years, while still playing in Argentina his club could not afford the medical expenses and Barcelona stepping in and offered to pay all the medical bills if Messi made the move to Spain, without doubt if Messi had not benefited from this treatment he would have remained a dwarf...
![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJ8TD0m5QSU&feature=related Well sorry Kayoko but that about says it all ....at least we the first leg to saviour... Man Utd 3 - 2 Bayern Munich and one can only cringe at the irony, Arjen Robben's late goal finished Manchester United's hopes of reaching a third consecutive Champions League semi ?final. The former Chelsea midfielder whose volley from Ribery?s corner shocked Man U, who up until that moment looked as though they were coasting into the semi finals after racing 3-0 up before the half time whistle. With Rooney in the starting line up, looking like classic ?Sir Alex? as one can see his early inclusion clearly paid off , he set up Gibson for the opener, soon to be followed by Nani adding a second from Valencia's cross and then scored a third to give Man U clear blue sky, looking certain of a semi final place. But Football match?s are never over until the Ref blows the whistle, and Olic goal just before half time clearly had the Man U wheels wobbling, new life seemed to spur Bayern forward and as Rafael De Silva was sent off sparking a furious Sir Alex to retort ?Typical Germans he?s young and inexperienced but they got him sent off, everyone sprinted over to the Referee, no doubt about it, the sending off changed it, Bayern would have never have one the game?. Soon a limping Rooney was replaced by O?shea, however Bayern were clearing looking the revitalised team with no Rooney and for the first time in seven years no English team will be represented in the last four of the Champions League tournament. Val will be as very disappointed. ![]() |

What? You don't know the name of your own players? Tis a big shame indeed..it's obvious to see why players tackle aggressively at Ribery; just take a look at his face. His angry mug of a face would infuriate anyone. And to steal the arts of Aiden McGeady and call his own, hmm one can only question his “original” ability before copying other stars' patented techniques. And Val the defender that got sent off was Fabio da Silva lol. tsk tsk tsk..United supporters *shakes head
Well at least we got the weekend fixtures to rave about. Arsenal has Tottenham I believe and honestly it doesn't matter who Chelsea and United play, as long as they drop points. ![]() ![]() |

Ok the Premiership run in?..Arsenal, Man U, and Chelsea
Sunday, 11 April 2010?? Blackburn v Man Utd, Tuesday, 13 April 2010??Chelsea v Bolton Wednesday, 14 April 2010?.. Tottenham v Arsenal Saturday, 17 April 2010?? Man City v Man Utd, and Tottenham v Chelsea Sunday, 18 April 2010?? Wigan v Arsenal Saturday, 24 April 2010??Arsenal v Man City and Man Utd v Tottenham, Sunday, 25 April 2010??.. Chelsea v Stoke Saturday, 1 May 2010?..Blackburn v Arsenal, Liverpool v Chelsea, and Sunderland v Man Utd Finally Sunday, 9 May 2010??. Arsenal v Fulham, Chelsea v Wigan, and Man Utd v Stoke...... So today and Chelsea V Aston Villa FA Cup semi-final..Chelsea must be favorites here to progress to the Final after inflicting Villa with a 7-1 routing just two weeks ago, how did Martin O?Neal put it "worst day in football" or something along those lines and to cap it all, the persistent rumors abound that and Villa?s American owner Randy Lerner have failed to settle their differences over the Clubs future direction and O?Neal?s resignation will be forth coming once the season has concluded ?.. Ah ha Monsieur K it was none other than Rafael, Fabio?s twin other half that saw red during the last weeks Bayern Man U match Champions League Quarter Final?. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Man U 0 Blackburn 0......... To quote Sir Alex "It's a blow, there's no question about it. It makes it really difficult to win the league now, that?s a fantastic result for Chelsea. It has slipped away from us; we have a lifeline if Chelsea blows it, but to my eyes they have an easy game against Bolton on Tuesday. We would expect them to win that and it will put them four points clear."
....There you have it straight from the horse?s mouth, not just more desperate mind games from Sir Alex? frankly everything being equal Chelsea should take the title....if it wasn?t for the fact that this closing premiership season had not been such an abysmal disappointment. Let?s stay with Man U for the moment and Dimitar Berbatov in particular, little doubt that Wayne Rooney absence should have given Berbatov the opportunity to shine, yesterdays performance suggests that Sir Alex?s love of the 4 -5-1 formation has a detrimental effect on Berbatov who tended to play deep or deep midfield, evident with Macheda sitting up front in the lone striker position, Berbatov was frustrated at every turn and was clearly un happy with his team mates, subsequently squandering good chances to score, with the benefit of hindsight Berbatov was a ill judged ?30m investment .... And that is my point the failure of English clubs in the Champions League this season is due as much to economics than poor performance the de-valuing of the UK?s currency (sterling), sterling has lost around 25 per cent of its value over the last two years against the Euro, leaving Sterling?s value considerably depreciated. To enjoy the levels of success and be able to capitalize on that success premier league clubs need to constantly invest in attracting the best playing talent in the world. In 2009 with the pound hovering around 1.18 against the Euro saw a curtailing of premiership spending in last summer?s transfer market, along with lowering Investment by England?s clubs illustrated by Chelsea, Abramovich?s expediential cutting the amount of investment than previous years, bluntly premiership clubs sold players during 2009, and subsequently cut spending, Man U sold Ronaldo and Tevez, Arsenal sold Abdebayor and Toure, Liverpool sold Alonso are example, the effect on this season?s European Cup results for the first time reflect those of the Champions League ?.and that before taking into account the staggering levels of debt with in the premierships top clubs? I can feel a frying from Kayoko, and Swallow, because I have always been an advocate of advancement from the training ground?.. the real life, real time scenario is spend, spend, spend?.Look at the champions league semi?s, significantly 2009 investments, Barcelona ?98.45million, Inter Milan ?83.24million, and Lyon ?70.17million, get the picture ??Cash is King ?. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Edit: Kayoko Terry?s challenge on Milner Chelsea V Aston Villa was cynical and considering Milner is an England team mate says it all, Terry should have seen straight red pure and simple.... ![]() |

Kayoko will remember the name Danny Rose for some time to come after Spurs(2-1)basically put a spanner into the works for Arsenals premiership title hopes, aided?n?abetted by Danny Rose with a 25 yard volley on his first premiership outing, all within the first fifteen minutes.
Kayoko must have been spitting nails as Gomes saved at least two further opportunities that would have put Arsenal ahead, only then for Bale to score a second for Spurs a few minutes before the half time whistle, Bendtner managed to claw one back, but for Arsenal now six points adrift from Chelsea... under normal circumstances to close a six point gap with just 4 matches left to the end of the season would be a tough nut to crack, however times are a changing and the patchy unconvincing performances from both Man U and Chelsea could well throw up some surprises .. .... Yep Fibreglass for sale to Man City .....How does those crutches work on the pitch?? .... ![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1265172/Manchester-City-plan-huge-50m-bid-Arsenal-star-Cesc-Fabregas.html Well Val maybe one day money won't rule the world ......according an episode of Star Trek: Next Generation... Pickard and Co find a number of capsules frozen in cryogenic freeze occupied with humanoids .....etc etc etc ....I bet Winston knows the exact episode....being half vulcan ... ![]() |
