Yes Val you are so right.... 7-0 complete total thrashing it was embarrassing, and a humiliation for Stoke, a total drubbing ....nuff said I think ....this is what?s called winning in style .....
But all due respect for Man U 3-1 Spurs looked a shadow of the team that beat Chelsea and Arsenal on the last 2 outings, seems Spurs just run out of steam .. Wayne Rooney voted Professional Footballers' Association player of the year, do I see 2 portions of vanilla bobbing up and down in that soda ....or is that a Beer ???! Swallow .... Berbatov shows signs of true brilliance and skill maybe his style is just not suited to the physical elements of the premier league .... Sorry Kayoko that was a tough match and the goalless draw mathematically means Arsenals premiership challenge is over...My Grandma is a Arsenal supporter as was my late Grandfather ... ![]() I am pouring Kayoko a beer now ...Leffe 9% .. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/470/28802 Sorts the Men from the Boys ...... So where are we now .. Sunday, 2 May Liverpool v Chelsea .....this could be the premiership decider ... Sunderland v Man Utd....... Man U are odds-on to win this Sunday, 9 May Chelsea v Wigan....not a walk in the park here for Chelsea either .. Man Utd v Stoke......Another easy one for Man U ... Well there you have it ..... ![]() ![]() |

Berbatov not suited for the physical elements? What physicality? Berbatov survived and flourished actually in Germany scoring tons before moving to Tottenham. I don't think even at his age, he is ready to perform at his peak playing for a massive club. 85,000 supporters coming to watch every home match isn't the easiest pill to swallow. His nerves are getting to him I think.
Bayern defeated Lyon Tuesday to become the first German club to play in the CL final since 2002 I believe. Who do they face? Match is to be decided Wednesday. Barcelona has a mountain to climb, but it is at the Nou Camp and Barca scores alot at goals at home. I'll be quietly rooting for Inter. Me and my beer Pips just poured. Another one Missy please? on the double!!! |

Ah ha!..... Mon Seignior Kayoko..... The European style of elegant 'identity' all prancing around like big girls blouses, handbags and smudged lipstick...I know it has beauty and elegance, but the English game is a lot more physical...Wenger has complained about this on a number of occasions ....look at the number of injuries ...Bayern V Inter .....We shall see ....

Every league has their own taste of physical play. The Bundesliga are notorious for their physical. You can slide tackle 2 seconds late and it's still “play on”. Serie A are known for defensive struggles and tactical play. La Liga has been made famous for their precise, technical play. And the Premiership is fit for the passionate and quick pitch players. Goals can happen anytime with the fast, non-stop action. You only see or hear about injuries on star players especially for the higher up clubs. All players are “gunning” for the stars to level out the playing field. That's why you see like RVP get hurt every season and not Carlos Vela. There's a difference in role player and star player treatment in terms of physicality.
LOL.. Philipa must be deeply interested in big girl blouses..its always John Terry big girl blouse this, John Terry big girl blouse that lol. |

I give you Jose Mourinho, Barcelona 2 3 Inter Milan (aggregate)?. Inter Milan and a master class in defensive football with 10 men ?.Not only did Inter contain Barcelona but Motta and Cambiasso cut down Xavi and Messi , even though Barca had 70% + possession Inter with a 5 back spread and 4 stretched across the midfield preventing the ball from reaching Barca?s front row of strikers?.But sorry, Mon Kayoko some of the negative aspects of the European style were present and on display, I have not seen more diving since my last visit to our local municipal swimming pool?..the theatricals, the gesturing, the play acting, Barca ran out of options and resorted to tumbling over at the slightest touch preferably in front of the Referee?. Inter have got to be favorites now ?

Barca won yesterday, yet in the end Inter passes the test and entered the Final. Something that was bothering me "Victor valdes" action when Jose Mourinho want to celebrate their victory in Nou Camp.
Can you believe it he grab Jose and he almost throw Him, how professional was that, gimme a break...admitted you guys lose to Inter, don't do like that....i lost my respect on this club. On Inter press conference Jose says "he don't want to train Barca even Barca want to hired him with huge amount of money ", after all humiliation from Barca fans when match were held. Inter VS Bayern..... the possibility were Inter gonna won it, but i'm supporting Bayern this time, even though Bayern beat M.U last time ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
