Yes Lampard missed, Boateng's effort for Portsmouth wasn?t much better either, the whole match was a rather surreal experience, most of Chelsea?s midfield took it in turns to rattle the woodwork, Drogba twice, it is good to see Chelsea winning Trophy?s again they have had to endure 3 season?s of playing second fiddle to Man U?
On to the England?s 2018 World Cup bid and you could not make up the scandal that hit the newspapers this morning from the revelations reported in yesterdays Mail on Sunday ??. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/worldcup2010/article-1278831/Lord-Triesman-quits-FA-chairman-Englands-2018-World-Cup-bid-chief-accuses-Spain-Russia-trying-bribe-referees.html It?s beginning to look a racing certainty that Jose Mourinho will leave Inter this summer and to take up top job at Real Madrid. And will he, wont he Mr K ?...When one Cese Fabregas was asked, if he left Arsenal would it be for Barcelona and he stated "yes, you see your (Spanish) team mates succeeding there and it is exciting because you have worked alongside them for so long, I think I would like to go to Barcelona, whether or not they want me is another thing, I don't know when it will happen. I am happy at Arsenal and I am not in a rush to leave??before I leave for the World Cup I want my future sorted out because it benefits nobody if I go into the tournament with something else on my mind." ?..a parting message to the Arsenal faithful, I wonder ? Remember this from 2007 ?.. Henry eyes USA switch http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport-old/football/2007/10/23/henry-eyes-usa-switch-115875-19993641/ Well Henry gets his wish ? will Jens Lehmann follow??? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1263185/Jens-Lehmann-team-Arsenal-pal-Thierry-Henry-MLS-New-York-Red-Bulls.html Val I just wonder if Schumacher regrets returning to F1? http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/83684 ![]() ![]() |

Please don't say that about Fabby Philipa. He isn't parting with Arsenal..not yet. And he talks as if Barcelona aren't interested in his services. They've tried to woo him back years ago and his comment just may start another instigation once again. But if Fabby says he's happy in London, then I can't complain. A more long term contract may have to in the minds of the Arsenal higher-ups to reinforce his presence at North London just a bit longer.
It is almost certain that Jose M will accept the Real Madrid, but he has a better squad in Inter. How the mastermind is to mesh two Ballon d'Or winners remains to be seen or may not be seen at all if he chooses to stay in Italy. But he has openly expressed interest in returning to England to manage. Somewhere along the line Rafa Benitez will be tried to move from Liverpool and there would lie Jose M's chance into England. We'll see. What can an over 40 year old German goalkeeper accomplish in America? Perhaps Jens will jot down good players' tendencies and team strategy on his note paper in his sock. Send him two pieces of note paper, he has two socks not one. |

I think Schumi will retire next season :D his time were over. He should back to Ferrari team as a (whats the of it) man i forgot his job at Ferrari before back to race again
![]() Hmm Fiberglass want to go back to Barca, i thought Arsenal decline the proposal already. Ballack cant go to World Cup he got injured after FA Cup Match. In World Cup don't forget about Holland, they have talented player who play on many league. I watch on the sport news, The Special One said "Italy" doesn't respect to him. Like Kayoko said he might go to Real M or England ( I don't know which Club) Edit: Forgot to say..... have you watch the news Al Qaeda will go to Africa World Cup, not to watch but want to...... you know "bang bang boom" still a rumor though but its definitely bad news ![]() |

Well Holland are considered to be the best nation in the world that has NOT won the World Cup, and this year will prove no different. Yes they have great players in Wesley Sneijder, beastly Arjen Robben, and Robin Van Persie. But their achilles heel would have to be their back line. No world class defenders to lead the team..Fantastic at scoring, but not allowing the opposition to score is the key to winning and Holland are mediocre at best. Wouldn't you agree Philipa?
I wouldn't bet on Germany going far this tournament. With their anchor at midfield in Ballack gone, it's hard to see who can lead like he does and perform at his level in place of him. Also a tough group stage in Serbia, Austrailia, and Ghana will reveal how much Ballack will be needed. Wouldn't you agree Philipa?? I wouldn't bet on Al Qaeda going to South Africa. Terrorists allowed on planes is a big, big no-no. Security will be extra tight now that the rumors are out. FIFA tightened up security when Togo's bus was attacked, something like this on an event on a scale like the World Cup will be taken care of immediately. Don't worry Val. Wouldn't you agree Philipa lol(sorry it's just childish play)??? |

It looks like Adios Arsenal, Senor Fibreglass is on the move...for a price and the tag reads ?40,000,000 to prise him from the 4 years that remain on his ?80,000 per week contract, and Arsenal will hold out for a club record transfer fee, after all Kayoko is spot on when pointing out ?Fabby? is happy and settled at the Emirates....which does not fully explain why Fabregas returned on Monday and told Wenger he felt his future lies with Barcelona....What could have prompted the dramatic change of heart?.... well the ?80,000,000 Real Madrid paid for Ronaldo certainly prompted Fabby at 23 to feel he is an undervalued asset at Arsenal also Barcelona is keen to dispense with the services of ?180,000 per week flop Zlatan Ibrahimovic and is keen to do a swap deal, but Arsenal will never pay Ibrahimovic?s inflated wages, so the swap is probably a non starter, but the prevailing economic conditions will see Arsenal instead move on value for money signings an example would be Melo from Juventus....
I believe Fabregas has spotted a opportunity going begging to return to Barcelona where at 16 he was a integral part of a youth team that nurtured fond memories, and with possible vastly improved financial prospects on offer Fabregas has made his move, with the world cup looming in South Africa, like a vast shop window to showcase skills Fabregas has in abundance, never has there been a better strategy to effect change .... One day Jose M will disappear up his own backside head first, it is a racing certainty the ?special one? will coach Real Madrid, Inter are poised to make a offer to Rafa Benitez to move to Italy, as soon as Jose M get his act together.... Holland with Sneijder, Van Persie and Robben are amongst the favourites to reach the final but I do agree Mr K their ability to defend is suspect, Boulahrouz, Braafheid, Van Bronckhorst and Heitinga have wooden legs and a tendency to succumb to prolong bouts of ball gazing, and Germany like England will provide the world cup with some hilarious ?on golden pond? moments..... FiFa have promised round the clock security for the tournament, so unless Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden decide to shave of their face foliage they won?t make it through passport control..... Besides I hear that the African Boer Goat population numbering over 200,000 are particularly nervous after hearing that Al Qaeda activists wear robes... normally a fully grown Boer Goat can hear a zipper from a mile away ... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Oh the mystery and intrigue, Barcelona are rumoured to be putting together a bid for Liverpool striker Torres for ?70m after completing the ?34m transfer of David Villa, however Chelsea have made muted noises in the Spaniards direction, keen to sign Torres for next seasons campaigns?
Yesterday Wenger made a point of stating that Cesc Fabregas is not for sale and will not be allowed to leave, with 4 years remaining on his contract Arsenal have every right ask him for unequivocal commitment ?. Wenger ?we have nothing more to add, the more people speak the less good it does??.what more can he say ,there has been no official approach or offer from Barcelona?however rumours abound that Fabregas met Barcelona ayatollah Pep Guardiola last Thursday, an illegal approach under current FiFa rules?.....Kayoko will need a shoulder to cry on ... ![]() ![]() Val what is this about Berbatov? Berbatov not for sale, says Man Utd boss Ferguson http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/8680024.stm |

Exactly who can stop Diego Milito? Insane striker makes Van Buyten and Demichelis look like fools as he doubles up past Bayern. Arjen Robben looked good, but was hounded off by Inter's specialists Cambiasso and Chivu. Bastian Schweinsteiger looked off that match with bad decisions and poor vision. But the story had to be Milito, absolutely wonderous.
And as for Fabby Val and Philipa. Quite honestly, he has 4 years left on his contract, but he can leave. Once Barca makes an offer, it's basically a done deal, just how much is the only remaining question. I just hope Arsenal signs a star player if Fabby is sold this summer. Maybe Thierry Henry isn't destined for America just yet. It's told that West Ham have submitted a large bid for the Frenchman's services. He still has the skill to compete at the top level, Barca just has too much depth. And New York doen't need Thierry Henry. They just beat Juventus 3-1 in an international friendly today. |
