South Korea are in the tournament bud. Check the group with Argentina, Nigeria and Greece. We were one of the first countries to qualify alongside Austrailia, Japan, and the Netherlands. If you are in America, South Korea kicks off against Greece at 7:00AM Saturday, ESPN2 will be broadcasting live from South Africa. Argentina and Nigeria immediately afterwards at 9:40AM same channel and USA and England, coverage begins at 1:30PM on CBS.

Oh and let me say this..God save the Queen because America is going to lose!!!~~ America is going to lose!!!~~ America is going to lose!!!~~

Thanks for clearing that up for me! When that person told me that S.K. wasn't in it, I was suspicious

GO, SOUTH KOREA!!!

I love the fact that S.K.'s singers are really supporting the team. Nothing beats home support!

Home support? Did you watch South Korea in 2002 when we hosted the World Cup? Beat Poland in the opening match 2-1, tied with USA 1-1, stunningly upset Taiyou's Portugal 1-0 behind Park Ji-Sung's winner, advanced to the knockout stages and defeated Spain (0:0, 5:3 pen AET.), defeated Italy 2-1 in extra time, advanced to the semi's only to lose to Germany 1-0 behind Michael Ballack's rebound. We did the unthinkable..no other Asian had made it past the first round of the knockout stage, and we fed off the nation and flew all the way to the semi-finals. People were crying and we were united as one.. All watching the Red Tigers play screaming “DAE HAN MIN GUK!!” You'll hear it again this around and forever more..

No, I didn't watch it, those were my playgorund days!
South Korea seems to be the one setting all the records and achieving the impossible, whether it's the smallest of small or the biggest of..the big? Either way, South Korea has done some amazing things these past years and I'm proud of them. I feel like a proud parent

I don't we're setting records or achieving great things..yes we went to the semi's in 02, but that was because Europeans didn't know much about Asian style soccer. They didn't know what kind of playing style we had or had any idea what we would be capable of..We showed them. Now that respect has been rightfully earned, Asian sides feel more relaxed..playing flashy, more freedom across the pitch adapting to the European style, South Korea adopts the Dutch one-to-one technicality and the English pace..quick moving up. We're developing, we're not a stepping stones to the European power nations, they take games like against South Korea and Japan very seriously..because if you underestimates us, we have the skill players to make them pay dearly..ask France.

Whether it's in sports or music, it's time the world recognizes these talents. C'mon, Kayoko, don't be humble, say it, "Heck ya we're setting records and achieving great things!" Then give "the finger" to the person next to you so they know you mean it! >:)

Ok..I'm beginning to get very edgy getting closer to South Korea's kick-off against Greece..14 World Cup qualifying matches unbeaten and surging into the tournament with something to prove after a missed offside call on Swiss defender Phillippe Senderos saw South Korea leaving Germany early. This time with a winable group, yes winable though being in with Argentina, we want to make another run to glory. Our players are good, maybe the best since 2002. 6 of the starting XI playing avidly in Europe, this experience should prove we are ready to play. But Greece is no joke either...Cinderella winners of the 2004 Euro competition, they upset favourites France, then Czech Republic before going onto the finals to beat host nation Portugal.

But South Korea, though not scoring in the last 2 friendlies against world #1 Spain and Belarus, are capable of scoring..Captain Park Ji-Sung looks to carry the load for us as his 12 goals in 88 apps for Manchester United and 5 in 14 matches for this year's qualifiers shows his scoring prowess. Greece however are coming into their just second World Cup ever but never scored in the country's history allowing 10 in the group stages in 1994. We are looking to capitalise on that scoring drought. One goal is all we need even if they defence oriented. We can win..let's go Reds!!!

The Rainbow National did them selves proud in a show stopping Global coming out party; one could feel the carnival atmosphere reaching out from Soccer City, the opening ceremony was a breathtakingly stunning kaleidoscope of colour and sound, I loved every minute of an inspiring choice of South Africa to host this 2010 World Cup finals and the first match did not disappoint although Bafana Bafana South Africa?s national team were presented with a technically superior Mexico, and lucky to snatch a draw as Bafana Bafana were for large portions of the match outplayed by opponents that passed the ball around with that beautiful South American ease and style, a joy to watch, and for some 50 or so minutes it look as though South Africa would produce an upset but Mexico?s arsenal of skills just simply overwhelmed Bafana Bafana, and when the Mexico front row started to run the hosts defence ragged, Marquez 79 minutes equalizer came as no surprise, but there was more drama to had in Cape Town as France produced a lamentable opening match performance against Uruguay to bore the pants off any unfortunate fan that had the misfortune to have paid for a ticket, lets not forget that France scrapped through thanks to Henry?s handball against the republic of Ireland, listen to the arrogance of French Captain Evra boasting France has the best players in the world in just about every position, it?s embarrassing to listen to such nonsense.

So today?s lunchtime match (London time), South Korea v Greece and do I hear a nervous bottom bugle from Kayoko, expect Man U?s midfield ace Park Ji-sung and striker Lee Chung from the off for South Korea, and Celtic Ki Sung-yong will partner Park Ji-sung to push forward from midfield and drive home, so South Korea should capitalize as Mr Kit Kat has smartly pointed out an unbeaten run through qualification?..

I can?t even talk about England v USA this evening I?m sick to my stomach with anticipation and worry?.I haven?t eaten since yesterday morning?..
