Just listened to kokorono - bloodthirsty butchers.

Now i've got Highvision - Supercar on. I'll never get tired of this album.

I wish Hisako would continue to produce work through Toddle.I hope she didn't to decide to be a housewife when she isn't touring/recording with the bloodthirsty butchers.

The butchers have an album out next month which i'm pretty excited about. They haven't really set a tour, but if they decide to do a few shows and promotion for it, i'm sure yoshimura can become a housewife after. Either way, Hisako will find time i'm sure, and Ai can still be experimenting with some ideas in the downtime. They recently did some shows in september so that's a good sign. I'm guessing you might have seen it already since it's a little dated now but there's some live footage of them featuring two new songs. It still makes my face melt. The footage was posted last July so conceivably they've had time to polish the songs and write new stuff. I'm pretty sure they'll get back to the studio but I hope it's soon. Need more toddle.

Listening to 'Very' by Miki Furukawa for the third time today.

It's her third album that came out a couple of days ago. I'm really liking it. It's so solid compared to her other records, which got a bit bogged down with some really slow stuff. It's much more on the electionic pop side, though I miss some of the more supercar-ish stuff she put out previously. It features 'saihate' (a miku hatsune cover?) which she released as a single, but that's as 'pop' and 'sweet' as it gets. I wouldn't say it's out of place, but all the other songs feel more like proper Furukawa songs in terms of style.

I actually really liked Bondage heart.Blur blue Wave and Freaky Rider, absolutely wonderful.Mirrors actually holds record for most song off a single album on my mp3 player at the moment.Freedom Leaf was cocaine lined with Life when I first heard it.

Well I didn't mind either of her first two records though i'll say I enjoyed Mirrors more. Going through some tracks now, i'd say it's almost for me as enjoyable as Very (which I probably overstated). But still some of it doesn't do much for me, like you can have some Nakamura in Sunburst but I still find it a bit boring. 7STARS and Mutter of Metal don't do much for me either. When I first listened to Bondage Heart I was hoping for a more fast paced guitar-driven album from the initial sound. Then tracks like Sweet Surrender and Jonathan are there to break up the pace. I'm not inherently opposed to the slower tracks, but they don't interest me a lot of time, though Oct.24 I found pretty interesting for what it is. I find her albums to generally be quite front-loaded, having a lot of the best stuff in the first half. For me, I'd liken Very to iLL's Force, which is just a way more acccessible album though even that tails off a bit at the end.

I liked 7stars from first listen.I JUST recently like last month started liking Mutter of Metal.Lalala was my favorite for a long time,Sweet Surrender I loved too.Took me about 4 months to like Jet coaster.Sunburst I still shrug at.

I feel that Very is looking to be her most consistent album. All the "engrish" this time surprised me too. It's actually making me like her voice more.

I actually didn't see the toddle lives before. Thanks,I also just ripped the mp3 from the videos too.I really enjoyed that live Recollection.Ai seemed a little nervous to me.
