no they're not. religion is a tool created by man to control man using the name of God. more wrong has been done in the name off religion than any other cause. more people have died in the name off religion than any world war. and don't tell me that religion is based on god's words because has been able to present proof off that.
look at the middle east. why do you think those idiots are fighting over there? you think it's for land, oil? it's because off they're religious beliefs. look at india, you think the muslims and hindu's(my "religion") are killing each other for land? study the history off all the worlds religions. you'll see they all have an extremely bloody history.
your faith in god is what keeps "you" going. not religion. god is your savior, not religion. god is your keeper, not religion. god is the only one that can save your soul, not religion.

True enough, I don't really trust people who acts on the name of their religion. But the religions theirselves, none of them teaches their people to make the bloody history. There are a lot of people bending it and using it as a tool to do those things you said.

I hope this doesnt offend anyone but what I have noticed is that sex and religion are always going to come up in the same conversation. As its been stated before, the opinions change based on the religion(or not).

I personally think that sex would be better for after you get married. I know many people that have tried it and ended up regretting it. Mainly cause at a young age (yea I know some people might say age has nothing to do with it etc) which was when my friends decided it was 'now or never', your hormones are doing all the craving they want and its a need obviously. Anyways I'm going off the point (lol). I'm not a strong Christian... I know people may question that a bit but never mind. I'd prefer to wait til after I am married but if the right man comes along and I'm certain we will stay together (you all know that marriage isnt for everyone, and some peeps just stay together and start families etc..). You can laugh or whatever but I guess I'm just a traditionalist. *shrugs*

your making the right decision. if your not ready to accept the responsibility that goes with having sex then you shouldn't be doing it. there is more going on than just intercourse, more things to take into consideration. don't worry what others think, it's your body and your life.

I certainly agree. ^^ It's a personal choice whether or not to save yourself for marriage.

It still surprises me how many people are having sex at a young age. I was in a classroom of 14 to 16 year olds.
My teacher asked us to close our eyes and told those who has had sex to raise their hand.
When I opened my eyes, my teacher said that in a room of 30, 8 (or 9, forgot) students have had sex before.
And a test was tested in a middle school. Out of the 100 students tested, half had a STI. Some stufents could've born with it but I doubt that they didn't tell the surveyors before hand.

Wow, that's pretty sad. But I guess it's not really surprising...

I used to live in the ghetto so I kinda understand....
