For 2 or 3 members who may be finding the costs challenging, I have asked my Parents if we could help with weekend accommodation, it goes without saying Parents would have be fully involved with all the arrangements to have confidence that whilst visiting London, your safety is assured.

This would bring the costs down to sourcing an economy flight to the UK.

I will ask Mum to draw names out of a hat, if more that 3 members take up this offer.

Also if any Utadanet member is have difficulty finding Hotels at reasonable prices, I am compiling a list that offers real value (realistic prices), are comfortable and within easy access to the concert venue.

Hi CrescentLupin9, Winston, well it?s a weekend, and with 14 week 6 days grace to February 12 2010 so we have enough time to make all the necessary arrangements and get parents together, we have had guests stay before obviously, on School\Student exchange summer trips, Mum and Dad hosted 4 exchange Students from Germany and Latvia summer 2008 for 4 weeks, we all still keep in regular contact, so a weekend will no trouble.

Our home is perfectly located EC1 for the N1 Center and the O2 Islington.

Livenation and the O2 group may have been a tad over eager to announce Utada tour details, which have now been taken down from view.

I am also wondering if IDJ will make the most out of the business opportunities that Livenation and O2 have frankly gifted them, it is no accident that promoters here in the UK would want to gauge early interest, extra dates could be added if pre sales where of a level to motivate and inspire Hikki.

IDJ should be comprehensively mechanizing Utada goodies now!!...IDJ seems to be forever playing catch up, preferring a tediously slow approach to marketing and promotion, in all honesty the relevant US tour dates should have been available for fans to book early allowing interested parties (livenation) to thoroughly analysis that data and review and tweak the schedule were necessary, add dates if Utada feels this is beneficial and practical.


Lurking our fellow Hikki groups and forums has revealed an interesting debate developing about Utada?s health, particularly the condition of Utada?s vocal range, and Utada?s ability to consistently produce quality live performances over a prolonged period of time.
Suggestions that Utada may not be full recovered.

And a postponement would pay dividends to Utada?s live performances !

I really don?t think Utada would contemplate such an major undertaking as a tour, that would undoubtedly put Utada?s Voice under the spotlight if Utada?s felt in herself that more time is needed , however with still no official responses or announcements, and to be fair there is time for Utada to reflect.
Oh Koko0830, is this a farewell? I sincerely hope not, I think Hikki will take a long deserved break, but I can see where you are coming from, I try not to thing about it.

Much like Pips paradise, i live 20 mins outside london and could happily have 2 people to stay- my house mates are more than ok with this- aahhhhh im shaking a little, this is much too exciting WHY didnt i check this thread more....

I wanna go to the London show. I'll ask my sister (who also likes hikki) to take me as my mum and dad won't. :(
