ok here's an example of how little things matter to women. this seemed trivial to me, but it mattered a great deal to her.

i can't sing, but i would always sing for her. it was such a big thing for her, it didn't matter that i couldn't hit a single good note.
when we first started going out, i tried to get her to dance with me while i sang for her. she wouldn't. she didn't know how to slow dance. so i had her stand on my feet, and we danced like that while i sang for her. when we stopped, i looked at her and she was crying. i was like "oh crap, i made her cry. way to go you tool". this dance was no big deal to me it was just something for us to do together, but to her it meant the world to her.
a few years ago while watching my favorite tv show "farscape", i saw 2 of the characters do the same thing. i couldn't help but remember( i swear i did not cry, ok maybe a little), those times.
another thing is, she would fall asleep on the couch. i would sit on the floor and hold her hand while she slept. i would stay there till she woke up. cramped legs and back aching like crazy, but i never let go off her hand.

guys the simple things mean a great to deal to girls. asking them about their day and nodding your head is not enough. you have to ask question, which means you have to listen. tune out the world. even for girls who are just your friends. the small things always matter.

learn how to cook fella's. at least how to make a good sandwich, cup of tea/coffee or a salad.
