I don't know a lot of Japanese artists other than Hikki, but I like Puffy AmiYumi. I don't know if they're Jpop or Jrock. Anybody else like them? Or am I all alone

Lol. Yeah I saw a few of those episodes. They also sing the Japanese theme song [when it appears] for the Teen Titans opening theme. :)

Puffy is good I think but there are many good J-pop artists too. Aiko, BoA, Koda Kumi, Onitsuka Chihiro, Otsuka Ai, ELT, Tokyo Jihen, Smap (some of their older stuff but I like them better as tv actors), Southern All Stars (for a classic rock feel), Sakura, Nakajima Miyuki, Mr. Children, m flo, Gackt, Dreams Come True, Bennie K, Asian KF Gen, Amuro Namie just to name a few.
