I think Kiss and Cry sounds kinda nice. Some elements in the background music is similar to Flavor of Life, maybe shes experimenting with something different.
Anyway, Whatever it is, they're both really nice songs

I think KnC has a nice sound to it. =)

Although I'm still a bit fuzzy about the lyrics. But it is catchy, so that's all cool. =P

And about appealing to the Japanese crowd...

You have to remember that her market IS Japanese. She doesn't release her singles in the Americas, you know? So I don't see why you would get all touchy about her appealing to the Japanese when that is her only 'official' market (or at least, the major majority of her 'official' market).

And I <3 FoL. Awesome song.
