It really depends on what kind of girl you're talking about...
Girls DEFINITELY cry more than guys, especially at older ages. And girls a little more touchy feely. But some keep it in and some let it out.
It depends what degree of crying. Was she bawling, moistening the eyes, trickles on her cheek, or was she full out, uncontrollably weeping.
I know you don't know this, but it all just depends.
And the girls who DO cry are girls you really don't want to hang with. They get really emotional, really quickly.

girls "seem" to cry more because it is more acceptable for them to cry. if a dude cries, well oh well he's weak or a sissy and so on. the pressure to be masculine is placed on guy by society. to appear weak is not acceptable. what people don't realize is that crying, by anyone, is a good form of emotional release.
excessive crying is not a good thing though. it is often a sign of an emotional problem. then again some people just cry just like that.

Also, it's an expression. You see it a lot in books. Sometimes it crying means cry out, when it's not as serious.
Did you guys know that when you cry, you're letting toxins out of your cells and body?

lol, Crying can get you out of a few situations too. My sister (now a cop) got pulled over by a police officer. He was filing a ticket for her, and she started crying. This, of course, was not intentional, but...the amusing thing was, he took pity and let her get by with a warning. XD

Yeah, crying is a way to have emotional release. It can make you feel better, but at times, it can also make you feel worse. Too complicated for me. >.< I just try to skip the whole thing whenever possible.

And yes, it does let out toxins, though, I think it's a specific type of toxins, Mikki, not all types. Sorry to disappoint you

yea girls cry a lot, but it doesn't mean they are more emotional than us guys it just means they release their emotions in different ways. Crying is one.

My girlfriend cries all the time, I think she cries more than a normal girl. But she had a pretty hard life (to me), she's used to crying by herself. I think women cry more to themselves than in front of people.
