I know exactly what you mean!! Of course, I want her to be HUUUUGE, but I feel really good that I know her and no one else does. Even though I wouldn't blast her on my iPod for fear of people accusing me "YOU DON'T SPEAK JAPANESE", I still feel really close because NONE of my other friends reads her blogs or listens to her music. I can't wait until they get huge and she'll thanks us like you said!!

Hell like i care if my friends hear me listen to japanese music. They always ask me y i listen to it if i dont understand and i jus tell them cause i like it. Really, i do like it how she is a bit unknown but i also dont like it. Since she is unknown here in a country that popularity comes if u listen to the songs people listen to (which is mostly hip hop), I barely get to really talk about Hikki with anyone. Only my cousin who i got into her talks to me about her.

Exactly. I want her to be successful here in America, but not to the extent where she has a bunch of annoying fans like those overrated Disney singers have. I hope her next English album will be her real style, and not of the mainstream. I can care less about trying to get into the American mainstream. I just want to hear real Utada Hikaru music.
