Being American, I could appreciate a variety of blends, but I regret not heading back to "the old country" that is, Italy, to find my wife, like my Grandpa Rossi did, around Naples / Napoli area. Like the youngest son in "The Godfather" movie. I tried dating a Korean-American gal in Chicago, Mia, and we lasted 2 years. I would have married her, but she left me. Then, years later, I married a mainland Chinese woman, Helen. She was 'damaged goods' and also one of the worst mistakes of my life. She left for California. Lives in Texas now, I guess. So KoS, I am thinking, third time is the charm, and I am thinking, Japanesy. But honestly, I am a little "gun shy" at this point. Besides, I am older now. Should be thinking of retirement, not marriage. I have nieces and nephews. Going to Thanksgiving with extended family. Guess that makes me the "crazy Uncle" in the family. So fun to "catch up" with Family during holiday season. Starts with Halloween - I actually watched Charlie Brown cartoon feature on ABC TV waiting for "The Great Pumpkin" again this year. Such fun! Charles Schultz, the Peanuts cartoonist, carried lifelong sense of aggrievement, according to an AP article I read this year recently. It motivated his cartooning talent. King of Sorrow, that might interest you, maybe. Turn lemons into lemonade, so to speak? Personally, not having experienced death of a loved one, I think it's tougher when they just up and leave you, then when they die involuntarily. You might want to think about that one, KoS. Then again, sometimes I think that I am built differently, than other men. Funny thought to close though; Playboy kingpin Hugh Hefner was quoted as saying, he never left any of his (many, many cute) girlfriends; they always left him. I found that revelatory, and mildly comforting, as well. Us poor, lonely menfolk, even old Playboy Hef, the practiced womanizer. Ain't that a kick? KICKS Song By Paul Revere and The Raiders Group
