I understand what you mean. I can definitely see a shift in hikki's music

I think that "stay gold" reminds me a lot of "Beautiful world" and "Kiss & cry" even. Can't wait til I can hear "Heart Station" Im pre-ordering this cd today!

Stay Gold is not the kind of song I'd listen to a million times, but it's a great song anyways.
If this song was really the a-side for her single, I'm kind of disappointed. But if this is the b-side, then I'm feeling very optimistic for HEART STATION.
(Could some please verify whether Stay Gold is the a-side or b-side of her new single?)

I am seeing a rather strong shift in Hikki's voice for this song. It could be the fact that this song is for a CM, but I think it is something more.
I think ULTRA BLUE was only a transition album towards a more dramatic shift in her singing style.

Hikki's upcoming album will be something truly unique that we have never seen from her before. Regardless, I'm anticipating both excellent and interesting music from Hikki this year.


EDIT: Turns out that it's a double a side single.
