I know that Utada Hikaru is a great singer ^.^ But, what are some other qualities or accomplishments that have contributed to her being so successful :)

she is unique, beautfiul, talented, lyrics, great composer, voice, creative, normal, etc. i could go on and on

she is the oasis in the desert that is the music world.
she is the diamond in the coal mine of the music world.
her voice is sweet serenity in a world of useless noise.
her lyrics are a breath of fresh air for the emotionally inarticulate.

well shes a CAPRICORN, the most sucessful sign of all, they are ambitious and goal-oriented.
she also have MOON in ARIES and aries likes to be the first and the best.

I think Hikki was very lucky from the start becuase of her parents and their connections with the music industry. Many people have musical talents but not everyone has had the chance like Hikki did to improve and be discovered.
Not saying that Hikki wouldn't have be famous without her parents, just not as early.

So yeah, I'm saying one factor is definately her parents.
