I would like to get tickets for a concert in Japan.

I've never bought tickets for a concert before.

Is it just like buying any other tickets?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

But isn't it like, if you wanna buy tickets for a concert, you can just go to the concert place and pay the amount of money to the ticket guy at the concert get the ticket?

But if you're going to Japan...I think you can do the same, except maybe it would be too crowded so you might want to buy it online?? Oh geez what am I even saying now...

please be more specific, I'll ask my girlfriend about it if you give me more details. Is it a club concert ticket, orchestra tickets, museum tickets (hiroshima's peace park's ticket counter was pretty confusing...), tickets for what?

I think if I buy them online I have to have a mailing address in Japan. Also I didn't find any tickets for my concert online.

I'm not sure about buying tickets on site either. I would think you just buy them there, but there's a lottery thing or something and the fact I'd need either someone in Japan or myself to wait on line for tickets. I don't know general procedure for buying tickets in Japan, so I'm pretty much stuck.

It's a long story, but let's just say that I'm not that good with my Japanese.

I'd rather not have to join mixi either just for this.
I'd probably use shopping service instead.

All I really need for now is knowledge on the procedure and details for buying concert tickets.
