I am going to go to japan in 3 weeks so I can buy her new album/single. How many of you have been in japan at the same time your favorite artist realeased their album? I live in jacksonville florida... I heard waitresses speaking cantonese or mandarin in a japanese resturant! We have very very little access to mainstream j-pop, let alone the indies stuff I listen to.

The only reason I have any cds from japan is because I can send stuff to my girlfriends address. How do you guys get your stuff? If you pay 3500 yen for an album+import shipping, you are a real man or a rich kid. I do not get allowance, I work for my money, so 40-50 dollars a cd is not always possible.

I was told uploading music online was like playing the music at a tea party then discussing it. If you like it I'll record a tape for you to have.

But to be fair it is illegal, but can any of you say that is your worst thing you did (not worst thung you were caught doing). I will say its not for me, but just think about it don't post about it...

EDIT: A good amount of japanese people can be found on major trackers, like animesuki, j-popsuki, and dramaaddicts...

I do download her songs in the limewire and youtube because it's really hard to find her albums here in the Philippines. aw.

I only have 1 cd of hikki, the single collection vol.1. And I really find it hard to grab a copy of that.

Lord Snow hates people who puts up links on the forums because that can cause some copyright issues and can possibly bring the site down. Just because we listen to her songs before purchase doesn't give you the right to assume that he hates us. In fact, in case you didn't know, links are allowable through PM as long as you're not sharing with the whole wide world.

In conclusion, what you are doing is nothing bad, I am glad that you are trying to support Hikaru as much as you can. But the idea of getting "rid" of all the sites that have downloads to Hikki's music is ridiculously impossible. If do it for her music, why not just freaking take down any other site that has downloads of some discography of another artist?

I download the singles and buy the albums. I never spoil the album by downloading it first. I like awesome quality lol so I always get the cds.

Sh!t, if we were to call ourselves true Hikki fans, we would buy her albums and whatever Hikki related on the spot. It doesn't matter if we already have the song. Nothing feels better than having the actual CD in your hands even if you heard every song on the CD and already have it on your iPod, Computer, Mp3 player, WHATEVER. Only reason for us to download pirated songs is because one big reason, WE ARE IN AMERICA. NOT A LOT OF STORES HERE SELL HER ALBUMS. I AM LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE A JAPANESE PLAZA IN MY AREA. NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE FORTUNATE LIKE ME AND OTHER PEOPLE. I will always be going to that place from now on to buy her CDs. Don't matter if I already have the song. Nothing will stop me (except having no money) from buying her CDs from that store. I just hope that store will get copies of the album/single on the day of its release or I will be sad having no idea when they might receive shipment. We see that you do want to help Hikki by stopping the downloads of her songs, but that is something that is nearly impossible to stop. Our love for her music will never end and even if we did download her music, that doesn't mean we won't buy her CDs. In fact, its quite the opposite. It, like DontEatChalk said, can actually make people want to buy her CDs more so thanks for your concern, but downloading Hikki's songs won't disrupt her album sales what so ever.

The leaks just make me want to buy it even more lol =P
