yes I have, it's an old one, it's from my couz, the book was published way back 1969. That's why the "watashi" there is still "watakushi".

Oh its an old book? I've never heard 'he' instead of 'ni', but it should have some merit if its a textbook. That's weird. I also think your book is leaving out explanations. Did it say that 'nihon e(ni) ikimasho' means 'Shall we, or let's go to Japan'? It does not mean 'I will go to Japan'. The ikimashou is a different form of the verb 'to go', ikimasu.
When I have more time I will post some informal verbs like I did last night but I got logged out and lost it :(

I know of some youtube videos that are really helpful by genkijapanNet.

the one on numbers I found the most helpful for me (they use a really funny rap song to count lol XD)and the one on "what food do you like" is very cute too!

here's a good one:
days of the week
http://youtube.com/watch?v=KhYWvW3LNVM

they also did a few other vids you can check out on their profile

ps:their "When, Where, Who, What?" scares me @_@

へ means to head in the direction of. So you could say 日本へ行きましょう it would mean lets head in the direction of nihon, impling that nihon could or could not be your destination, but that is the direction you are going. likewise とろへ手紙を行きました the letter is going to toro, is saying the letter is headed in the direction of toro. And on last example どこへ means what direction.

わたくし is still used today. It is a male only reference to oneself (like ore, boku, etc...) it is a humble term. It is used to lower oneself to the listener, it the ame thing as giving respect. For example the boss of a company uses watakushi to his employees, to show them respect.
