i was thinking of something else.

lets say that we have one round with the 2 songs one hikki and one non-hikki.

then we will shortlist the candidates (lol)

and make them sing one song from hikki.

then we will choose four people:

1. the best hikki song from the first round
2. the best non-hikki song from the first round
3. the best hikki song from the 2nd round
4. the best singer overall.

the four poeple must be different people

then...the judges will choose a final hikki song, hopefully of high difficulty. the person who did it the best wll win the competition

and also there will be other awards. e.g.
Sportsmanship Award!
Honorable mention!

In karaoke means I go to karaoke parlor and record me singing with a camera. So me singing on camera thru karaoke machine, is this acceptable?

So how long would this competion last? 2 weeks? A month? Do you guys think you will have everything finalized in 2 weeks. so we can start submitting?

I guess you could do that jiggy if you don't mind the audio quality. I think we would prefer it if you gave us mp3s
