Yeah hikki's the best!!

If ayaka's going to be the new hikki,
I never saw her single or album in the oricon neither any rank.

this is what you get if you push another artist near the goddess Hikaru!

There will only be one Utada Hikaru! end of discussion!!

there are advantages and disadvantages comparing an artist from another. i think one advantage is people will be curious in that artist, take for example Ayaka, they will be wondering why is she being given the title the new Utada Hikaru, so they will check her out, not all, but she will excite some attention, due to Hikaru-san. after the curiousity and comparison, some people will be disappointed or will get irate, thinking why are they comparing her to our idol? but some will discover that she can be a good listen, thereby gaining some attention. so by comparing her to Utada Hikaru she gain some attention and some followers. but it will be up to her if she will be successful in the future, coz she is always running the risk of being compared to the one and only queen Utada Hikaru!

For a debut single, hitting at number 3 is good. But what can you expect from a song being promoted in a drama? Then again, 'I believe' is amazing. And for the rest of her singles, it's been either among the top ten or twenty.

True, no one can be Hikki. And I thought Ayu was the 'Queen of J-pop'? =3 [I mean, the woman has 44 singles, a mini-album, four complitation albums, nine albums, and countless of remixes. o_o And almost all of her singles hit number #1 for ten years. xD Okay, enough about Ayu...]

But ayaka is really worth a listen if you like lots of power and soul in music. =D

i agree .. its just that, im appreciating someones talent thats all.. as i said before.. (in tagalog)... hikki is not the greatest of all jpop atrists but her voice is not tiring to hear.. not like others...even if ayaka can reach higher notes than her..(maybe).. ill be still in hikaru0san's side

Utada is an Alto so of course her vocal wouldn't sound as good when she is hitting high notes.
