Well, Jpop does have their fair share of cookie-cutter, pop idols who depend on their cute looks, high-pitched voices, and bikini photobooks to keep their career going. xD

hikki-san, ai otsuka, and koda kumi...those three fit the three caetgories...one for each...lol wait ai fits two...gah!!!

hikki-san uses more than her cute looks too...her voice her sense of humor she has...of course she doesnt do that just to keep her career...its just her way of life...thought someone might fee offended by this if i didnt say this...

i agree with u 100% ks-sama

u are absolutly right, she use more then her cute looks, she is just that unique

Faye Wong is a rather famous C-Pop singer. Not really into Chinese music, but I dig her. She also sang the theme song "Eyes On Me" for the video game Final Fantasy VIII.

Me too though I agree with what you said. They're just too adorable, and omgosh they are sticks!

As for kpop, Taiyou already named most of the bands/singers I know. Hmm.. Check out Shinhwa, they have the best vocals imo. And there's SNSD, a girl group from SM. They're actually pretty talented.

As for cpop, Zhang Li Yin, her voice is amazing (check out Pure Love from her album I will). And, SJM just recently debuted in China.

Random; Charice Pempengco. I love her. 'And I am telling you I'm not going' will blow you away. <3

They're adorable. xD I like some songs from Hello! Project, still not a big fan though. I liked Maki Goto's latest solo album, but she graduated from Hello! Project and is in the States now...I think. Some Natsumi Abe's works are good as well. I also liked W's stuff, even though majority of their works consist of covers. But still catchy stuff. I never really understood the whole Morning Musume or Hello! Project phenomenon.

I agree, Zhang Li Yin's voice is amazing. Her album worth checking out. ^^

Ahaha... me either. But, it doesn't bother me. Some of their songs are really catchy, like Shabondama or Special Generation. As for the graduated and solo members, I didn't pay much attention to them. Don't know why. LOL.

^Oh, and Vanness. I like him as well though I only listened to him when he collaborated with KangTa.

One more, Wang Lee Hom. Don't remember anyone mentioning him.
