Back in the HikkiCentral days, I was a moderator there (not admin) and I gained my position as a moderator, I never ASKED for it. If you are interested in being a moderator, then start doing the job of a moderator, and eventually we will notice if you are capable of handling the responsibilities of a moderator. Then we will approach you about it. Making a thread asking to be moderator and trying to have everyone agree with you shows no class at all in my opinion.

Yes, I wish that I could moderate the forums like I was able to back on HC, but reality is that I'm no longer a 16 year old high schooler but a full time 3rd year university student in a very intensive design program as well as working part-time web designer/desktop publisher along with church responsibilities.

And keeping up a community is a lot more work than you guys appear to realize. Look around, how many Hikki communities have had to shut down because the webmasters lacked finances and time. Hikki Zone, Hikki Central, Utada-Online,(I know I'm missing one more...) all of these have shut down, even with strong moderators backing it up.

Start acting like a moderator, and when something goes out of your hands, PM us about it. I get notifications for PM's and I'm a compulsive email checker so I will see it right away.
